Excellent Thunderbirds mini documentary by Marc, for the Blue Harvest Toys Channel. Relive those FAB childhood days, with this glimpse into the world of Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds. :)
I'm 70 years old and have been watching all of Gerry Andersons shows. I have all the DVDs of tbs and also or Stingrays which is another of my faves. At my age I still watch them. They make me smile.
Found my green tb2 and tb4 in the pod at my mum's when she passed last year. All four legs spring down and its remarkabley good for its age. Someone like a collector would love it
I had the Thunderbird 1 plastic toy (5:34) when I was a kid. Loved that show and I still have videos of a number of episodes that I haven't watched in years. Fun Fact: The names of Tracy's sons were based on five of the original NASA Mercury 7 astronauts. Scott[Carpenter]. Virgil[(Gus) Grissom], John[Glenn], Gordon[Cooper] and Alan[Shepard].
Imai Kagaku in Japan made a full line of Thunderbird plastic models, including the 5 main vehicles and also the Mole, FAB1, Zero X, Sky Ship 1, and the Tracy Island in several different sizes.
I'm gonna say it, Kids these days. Can you imagine getting away with those faces on some ranges of the "dolls"? Look like a four year old hand drew them. And as for a turquoise TB2? Come on !
