While returning to base, Scott Tracy is attacked by mysterious fighter aircraft and shot down over the Sahara Desert. He is discovered by two archaeologists, who send him on his way, only to find themselves entombed within an ancient Pyramid.

You guys should check out the comic adaption of this episode. It explains a lot about the Zombites and their motives. It also explains why Lindsey goes berserk, though it did cut out my favourite line from the episode, which was Wilson's line "Quit whining. You'll get sand in your throat".

Daft as it sounds I actually thought the villains were aliens hiding in a pyramid, why I used to think that I don't know. Saying that though it would have made an interesting plot twist.

Point, the fire Scott was flying back from was in Tokyo, and Tracy island is in the South Pacific. WTF was thunderbird 1 doing over the Sahara desert? It’s not like it’s on the way.
