Sounds like Mozilla is doing well. That's good to hear. In today's environment, a company like Mozilla is needed more than ever, in my opinion. That's one of the reasons I donate to Mozilla, as well as Thunderbird.
I am a regular donor to Thunderbird development. I was intent on donating again after the latest update. However, in going through the Paypal donation, I hit a wall requiring that I provide my residence address, which (a) being in Japan did not adhere to the required format, and (b) I did not want to do in any case. I could not get past this. So I cancelled. There is no reason to have this block and require my address. (This is the only place that I can find to post my complaint).
Hello! First of all, thank you for wanting to give a gift to the Thunderbird project. We understand that your privacy is very important. And we definitely understand that no one needs more spam in their life! We ask for a minimum amount of information required to process credit/debit card donations, including billing addresses. This allows our payment processor to verify your identity, process your payment, and prevent fraudulent charges to your card. We keep your information private - if you have questions, please refer to our Privacy Policy. If you would rather not fill in your information on our online donation form, you can mail a check or money order. If you have any other questions about donating, you can check our FAQ here: donate.mozilla.org/faq/ Please also feel free to contact donate_reply@thunderbird.net directly, and our Donor Care team can help you personally.
Can you please remove the hotkeys, or put an option to remove them please? If I accidently start typing when I'm in the view panel, it deletes and marks a bunch of emails as unread which causes total chaos for me because that means I will miss order request etc.
I find Mastodon just as bad or worse as X/Twitter. I've already been kicked off on Mastodon platform for disagreeing on a political comment in what I thought was a nice way. I think whomever was espousing Mastodon's values has rose colored glasses on. It is not better.
Just switch the instance then, if you have problems with administration of one instance, switch to another. If you continue to have administrative problems I would think about the posts you send.
@@SpatzleboyIt's not that simple. All the big instances usually band up together and have the same blacklists for other instances that don't follow their own political views. > If you keep having administrative problems, I would think about the posts you send. Aaaand it's Twitter again.
