Just another day on the southern kyst og Norge. Out chilling in the thundercat and testing topphastighet, klarte 52 knots with 3/4 throttle. Dont try at home!
its running good! We støyped the hole in the front and did some rapairs in the back, now looking for a bit bigger propeller. hoping for 50 knots in it the next summer 😎😎
Its a hurrycane 470, with a yamaha 90 2 stroke 2003 model, it currently has a 19 pitch steelpropel so it makes around 43-45 knots. We are hoping to get a 21 pitch propel and bring the engine higher and aim for 50 knots this summer :D
@@wavejumpers2279 thanks for the reply! Im getting 44 knots with my 15ft boat + 1990 Yamaha 60 + steel prop. Il get a hydrolic lift and a cleaver prop and see how fast it goes. I hope 50 knots.
@@wavejumpers2279 its a classic here in Finland, Vator 15R. This is a very similar boat and motor setup: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VgxFxbaVQqY.html The prop is a very large basic form (no ballistic, no semi cleaver) steel prop that has been hand carved for better grip, impossible to remake. What kind of prop are you going to be using on the 90 when you have the lift installed?, because i will get a tuned Yamaha 70 CES Block with about 90hp and need a Cleaver for it but Im not sure which one to get.. Best of luck with the boats and thanks a lot for the reply!
