So I wasn't planning on putting this up until after the film was finished (which we're still working on), but with the announcement of a new ThunderCats film (not at all jealous), I expect this project will fade somewhat into the background, so I figure, let's just put this out there now and see what people make of it. We are still making the film, this is just to get early feedback on the story.
This is obviously nowhere near a finished film - aside from the low-poly models and crude animation, it still needs lots of tweaking, but it should give you a decent idea of the film we're making and what to expect once it's finished, which will hopefully be sometime in early 2022.
All animation was done in Blender and rendered in realtime in Eevee - I'll do a short video on my workflow for those of you who are interested.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments, I read them all! Keep in mind that all the models are only stand-ins while we're modelling the proper ones for the film - these are not the designs we'll be using.
