Thunderstorm Ambience | Halo 3: ODST Music (One Hour) 

Sometimes I'll be laying in bed listening to this almost asleep and then hear a grunt scream with fear in the distance and it just makes me smile.

ODST always felt to me like Bungie's most personal Halo game. It remains my favorite in the series after all these years. Thanks for the upload!

ODST!!!!, this video sent me back 15 years, this was the best Halo game for me

I literally watch this video every night and it puts me to sleep. Even the sounds of firefights and enemies is soothing to me, this game is so special

What I like about this OST is that it has a very different feel than the other Halo soundtracks. The tone I get from it is much more somber and I feel it could only work in a game like ODST where the story is more personal with each different character you play as. You can tell that the UNSC soldiers are fighting an uphill battle without the Spartans backing them up all the time. Martin O’Donnell definitely poured his heart into this one. I also like how even back then, it kinda has a Destiny sort of vibe. Some of the songs sound like they could be part of Destiny’s soundtrack. The thunderstorm adds so much to the atmosphere too. Thanks for this video! Always helps me fall asleep.

The 8 hour version is great but this 1 hour version is convenient

There are days where I really wish they'd made a Battlefield-Style Halo game that emphasized more stealth and tactics rather than full-on constant firefights, though that would be nice too. I mean, think about it. Could have a map like New Mombasa at night, where you gain a better advantage as a stealth Jackal rather than an up-front Brute or Elite. Push for more tactical battles and the occasional long, drawn-out firefight and clustered battles.
