Thunderstorm in Burbank, CA 12/28/2020 

This was so crazy. Woke me up I thought it was a car accident at first.

It was an incredible storm! Had quite a bit of hail too. Last time I saw one like this in Burbank was almost 45 years ago, and it didn't last as long. Thank you for posting this. I'm subscribing to your channel.

Looks like Thor was battling the good fight with Thanos. ⚒️⚡⚡⚡🌩️ But what a storm this was! Wish we had more of this often. I know the plains get more of this than we do.

Yep I live in Altadena CA. That storm dropped a lot of hail in the area.

I heard this last December in North Hollywood as well. I checked the weather radar, and there was a line of strong thunderstorms passing from west to east across LA that night.

I’m envious! Over in Malibu we only had a fraction of that. And ours didn’t come with holiday lights.

Us Texans are very used to this.

Yeah I’m a few miles away in Noho and it just went crazy for about 15 minutes the wind was kicking up real hard and lots of lightning. I was expecting a strike near the house at any moment it got so loud. But it passed by eventually.

I heard a storm too. That was 6 months ago when I heard it rumble. It was at 5 in the morning.

Thats rare for California to have a storm with such frequent lightning..looks like here in the summer time.

Thunderstorms are rare in southern California.

Unusual for So' Cal'. You must visit Chicago in August with a cold front. You would be stunned at the cloud to ground lightning. Go into RU-vid and key in CHICAGO LIGHTNING STORM 8/4/2008. It will blow your mind. The worst cloud to ground lightning you will ever see. Nice video by the way. I live on the high desert (Palmdale) and we missed this event completely.

Besides the normal crackles and rumbles, I heard multiple booms that sounded like bombs. I read this morning that there were a lot of ground strikes. I wonder if anything blew up. Exhilarating and awesome display of mother nature. Thanks for capturing this on video.

Best video I have seen to capture this rare event! We are in Universal / Studio City and thought there was a terrible wreck on the 101 Freeway! The thunder woke us up from deep sleep. WOW ..Well, we needed the rain and got a sound and light show for free. Thanks for capturing this . The rest of the country think we are idiots for all the excitement ! LOL
