In summary: -Leverian is just a mini museum to learn more about the lore of the specific warframes. -Excavation missions have an enemy with battery-looking thing in their back that they drop once you kill them. You pick those up and deliver it to the excavator.
So tips for this one. On excavatoon some enemies will drop a battery (looks like a blue tube) that you pick up bring to the excavator where it'll auto install. 4 brings it to 100% power and more recharges the shield. On the resources and mission level, you're right and wrong. On your star chart in navigation, you can switch between nightwave (not sure if you always have that or need an unlock) and planet resources. Theres 4 specific types per planet. And as you saw in the codex, you can find certain mods from certain missions/ enemies. The liverian is basically lore for some warframes. There may also be a prex card of said warframe for that warframe hidden in the leverian of the same warframe. Next, syndicates they can be found on relays. You may have or get easy access to strata relay or earth. Cerus and fortuna also have standing like syndicates where you can trade standing for stuff. And finally on weapons yes you can get new weapons for more power but i would reccomed you level what you have to 30. That way you get affinity (experience points) to your overall account and gain mastery rank (player level basically) which unlocks more and better stuff.
