Thursday's Geoff Rickly came by Kops Records' Bloor location to perform an acoustic session for a small audience of contest winning fans. He played "Time's Arrow," "This Side of Brightness," "This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb" and "Turnpike Divides" for the Toronto crowd. The band performed later that evening at Danforth Music Hall with Fucked Up, mewithoutyou and Big Jesus. June 25, 2017.

do you hear the jet plane yawning miles across the sky? hear the garbage truck back down the boulevard, setting off the car alarms as it passes by? do you hear the static of one thousand detuned radios? shut the window, love. keep the world outside. I don't want to think about anyone but the footsteps are getting louder, drowning out the sound of the rain, as it knocks on the windowsill. I still talk about that as the most special show I’ve ever seen. Each band at their peak touring their best album.

A thing called strhess fest happened in Cleveland way back in the day. It was an all day festival with a ton of good bands. Finch and Thursday headlined. Thursday played for 2 hours, and they played pretty much all of full collapse and war all the time. Even played a few off waiting. It was magical

I went to that show at Birch Hill in NJ. So sick. I've seen Thursday over 40x. There's nothing like the emotional clarity you feel watching Thursday live.. there's only a couple bands that can do that .

I love this guy. I wish I knew him. Thursday and The Cure's 'Bloodflowers' were my early 2000's...living in a strange place and not knowing anyone.

i met Geoff about a month ago and he was actually the kindest soul i’ve ever met. he seemed so happy and smiley and eager to have as long and deep a conversation with you as you wanted. our talk is really special to me. he’s just a good & genuine man. i wish i were his friend too! he’s brilliant!🖤
