Please note the Tex 2 at the beginning is because Demo Disc II can choose between Ziegfeld, Tex 3, Tex 2 and Cavalcade at random before the menu.
There was an error in rendering the video at 6:57, I did not catch this until after I uploaded this video, and due to its sheer size, I was not going to try to upload it again.

It's kind of a shame that only four of the ten contest trailer entries (not counting the bonus entry) are included on this DVD. THX should've put all of them on it, that way people won't have trouble trying to find them, let alone get in contact with the creators of them.

There’s five of the ten, but yeah. There’s one that is lost, to boot, so it is quite a shame.

@@homevideogallery The reason I said four of the ten is because THXPhobia didn't make it as one of the finals on the THX website at the time when the contest was happening. Keep in mind, my friend knows all this stuff.

@@homevideogallery My friend just looked, and he seems to have miscounted what was on the screen. So basically, minus the bonus entry, only five of the ten winners were included, but not the other five to make it complete. If only THX would've added them in. Maybe the creators of the remaining five didn't want them to be added, or maybe THX didn't have enough time to put them in. Either way, it's still disappointing not all of them are featured.

I think one reason THXPhobia didn’t make it into the finals is because it probably bent the rules.

@@homevideogallery That is true. I’m still disappointed that not all 10 winning entries were able to make it on the DVD. I actually talked to Javier Ariel Garza about the THX contest trailer known as Shards, and he said that still has the original file, but not the template for it. Or at least, I think that’s what he said.

Alright, but usually with these demo discs, they don't have many clips and often a few are from Lucasfilm movies. Though, by that proxy, you'd think they would include Willow, but they didn't.

The THX Demo Disc II has been taken down by The Internet Archive due to a violation of Terms of Use. maybe someday a re-upload might be available.

No, the account associated with that upload was completely wiped for reasons that the person who owned that account wasn't even told about. This upload specifically was not removed by the IA for terms of use violations.

Kinda weird how THX snatched Brad Bird's introduction to The Incredibles for the "About THX Optimizer" option. For what it's worth they could've just do a static page for that one and it'll function the same.

Well, I assume they owned the rights to that clip, and it would also sing the praises of the optimizer. Not to mention that it would work well into the clipshows that would be running at video stores.

The Audition, All I see was "HAL", "abc", "XYZ" and "XXX". I always wondering why not "LUH" "SEN" "SRT" and other THX-1138 Characters.
