It's quite impressive - there's so many people involved! Their first show had 26 people on stage taking turns because not everyone knows every song and the personnel just has to change. It seems like a logistical Sisyphean task, so every show should be greatly appreciated (even though this one seems rather fine in that department). Still pretty sick and I'd looove to see them one day!
@@randomuser3209exactly. I saw them 3 times now and I will see them twice in November. Every show I've been to was an outstanding experience, because no setlist is the same.
Seriously! Rengeteg was the first album I listened to and it still holds a special place in my heart. The live versions have been even better than the album versions!
Goosebumps from beginning to end. It was such a privilege to be there. The magic these people are capable of creating is simply mind-boggling. The diversity, the vibe, the power, the harmony... since the band started performing live I've got to love them even more (if that's possible at all).
It seams like having 5 different bands in the same concert. So many styles, so many emotions performed by the same guys. Love Thy Cataflaque's versality and immagination. Greetings and cheers from Mexico
Mindig is jó voltál (Athame, Ahriman).
That's it, I need to see them live. That was excellent. Fat chance they'll ever come to America, but that was like Devin Townsend level production and laser precision with the instrumentals. If they ever come here, I'm within 5 hours of several of the most major metro areas, I'll be there.
Larga vida a Thy Catafalque!!!
I cannot even understand or comprehend how stunned I am that I only found you. Holy Shit! It’s insane how amazing you sound, I knew when I saw Season Of Mist it’s going to be good.
There isn't enough good that can be said about the brilliant job Tamás and friends have done of translating such a diverse and complex discography into a live setting. Every live performance I hear sounds absolutely stunning. And to have a live version of 'Csillagkohó' (even if it's just a part of the track) is awesome. I can only hope that, given that this video only represents a portion of the concert, and that the tracks shown here are from various points in the setlist, that this means there's going to be another live album released with the entire show.
Where did you get any hype around this artist? As far as I’m concerned they’re relatively niche and not famous enough for how awesome they are (maybe not in Hungary tho)
@@NASCAR_JunkI was there and I was not expecting this kind of crowd. A niche subgenre of a niche genre of music and relatively small country yet thousands came to see this concert. One of my favorite concerts ever.
@@BlackMetalButterflyI keep having people in my feed talking about how great Thy Catafalque are but never really got into it because of the language barrier and some production issues on albums. Shame on me, I know.
@@krisdaschwab912 that’s interesting, I’ve never had a language barrier when it comes to music, I just vibe to it regardless. I even think Hungarian is a very beautiful language, even if or maybe especially because I don’t understand a word. It’s different for everyone I guess!
Fantastic! Such a great catalogue of songs to choose from, and I love to hear Gábor Dudás' vocals. Would love to hear and see more live! Stuck in the USA, so keep these videos coming.
It would be great to watch you alive! One of my greatest dreams. I still cannot believe in my eyes Mr. Tamasz, I used to be so sad that I'd never be able to show your music to the next generations, so touchable with Live versions as well. I hope the other nations would be able to see you and your friends on different stages of the world. Regards!
Respekt!
if I compare this to last year Budapest Aquarium, an old soundmaster died and new was born, this is absolute gig with intense sound and visuals. Damit I wasnt there this time :/
You guys kick some major ass and how often is the female vocalist singing on some song she has a great voice keep up the awesome work THY CATAFALQUE ! 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Wow. That's a big venue and a lot of people. I always considered this band to be pretty niche. I guess Tamás more well known in Hungary that I thought, good for him.
Nagy gratula! A " Jura " elférne bármely Burzum albumon. 😅
This is amazing. I'm so happy I got to experience this project because I had an interview with Tamás and had to deep dive into Thy Catafalque beforehand, and now I'm apparently living at a time where I might get to experience them live one day. I'm really into it! (not so much into that Burzum shirt though ...)
