*I have to say, this truly is an amazing interpretation of Sign of Evil so here's my story interpretation of the story of DoomGuy using your song to tell the story.* The soft parts of the song showing the state of DOOMGUY's mind as it crumbles away from the sane human marine to the rage-induced and killing machine that he has become through the times of fighting Hell and the influences of Hell's powerful dark and satanic magic. From his time of being a marine to the time he was subject to be sent to Mars. The first of the heavy parts of the music then comes into play as Hell invades Phobos and Deimos, taking control and corrupting everything in its path thanks to the UAC's teleportation experiments. Humans either eviscerated by the monsters of an unnatural evil or corrupted as slaves of the demon horde while death and destruction is left in its wake. Another soft piece of the music plays as the Doom Marine finds his comrades dead at his feet and more bodies that are strung about in pieces. Knee-Deep in the Dead with no possible way to turn back, he keeps moving forward through the bloodstained corridors as screams far below into the inner reaches of the Phobos Labs. He had no idea what would happen to his life from this point on... A powerful 2nd wave of heavy music plays as the Doom Marine fights through the Two Barons of Hell who led the attack on Phobos and he teleports into a hellish room. Demons surround him on all sides and completely kill off the Doom Marine, only to send him in a seemingly eternal darkness. It quiets down as whistles of the Sign of Evil echoes through the darkness. There was no hope. Lights slowly return to the eyes of the Doom Marine and he sees what was left of the Deimos Base in front of him. He turns and looks outside. The skies of Deimos now a hellish red and the mountains corrupting away by lava flows as swarms of red floating organic looking orbs swing into the mountain passes. More of the powerful music's brutal instruments then play again, Hell and the lone survivor of Phobos battle it out once more and finalizing the battle between him and the Cyberdemon Lord and the Spider Mastermind who planned the invasion since the UAC's inception. It was at this point that his mind had been scarred as his time in the depths of Hell itself rooted into his psyche. Sights of his dead comrades and what is to come for Earth stung his very psyche as his Iron Will kept him from going completely insane and the prize of what was at stake; to save Earth his home. Then guitar notes start playing softly as he enters the Teleporter. His metallic blood soaked boots touched onto a soft surface of foliage and flowers that could be seen for miles met his tired eyes. He had finally return home, destroying the invasion of Hell and for once, felt peace, or so he thought. Walking onto the green pastuers of Earth's green grass, a city not too far off the main Starport was seen. But the city was not in peace... The music picked up heavily as the sight of fires raged and smoke filled the skies sourcing from the city and on the road to Sandy City, a series of pikes led to the once fruitful civilian population and on this pike, the head of his beloved pet rabbit Daisy rested upon it. His rage grew tenfold, his grip onto his weapon destroyed the weapon's grip then snapping it in half in a fit of rage. He stormed into an Entryway and his story only continued as Hell rampaged through the world, corrupting it to their very will and presence. Destroying the Refueling Base and hearing what was left of the world's population successfully evacuated by what was left of the military and the UAC. Alone and seemingly outnumbered, he continued to battle through the hordes of Hellspawn until he met the ultimate evil that spawned all of this. Its body spanning miles across Hell was before him and its massive head and arms held by an unknown organic hellish lair as its massive forehead opened into his very brain. The Doom Marine pumped rocket after rocket after rocket as Hell's Forces also pelted the Doom Marine's location with every ounce of strength they had to stop this unimaginable force of Divine Intervention from destroying the Icon of Sin but to no avail as a massive scream tore through the air and a bright light followed by secondary explosions tore through the blasted lands. Then it became quiet... Hell had been beaten... and Earth had been saved by the one man who survived the apocolypse of Mars. Years had passed and the Earth Defense Force was shown to be bombarding Phobos with everything they had to destroy what was left of Hell. Unsuccessful they were as DoomGuy and his teammates were then sent onto the grounds of Phobos once more to destroy the threat, only for the former to be again, the last survivor and the only thing left to destroy evil once and for all. As the music was now dying down to a close, one more visual scene was to be shown to your mind in the form of text and in the power of your imagination. The Doom Marine decided to seal his fate forever as the Mother of Demons laid dead at his feet, weilding the Unmaker as if it was a part of him. He gave his home one last look, knowing that the only way to protect it was to seal himself in Hell. Gripping the Unmaker, he slowly marched into the portal, blood soaked and his heart and mind corrupt by his hatred and desire to destroy Hell from the inside. His sanity now fully in question as the Hellwalker completely disappears from our reality to protect us from the horrors that nearly destroyed us during the inferno and having our flesh consumed by the evil...

The main theme of 2020 and 2021

Damn, this shows in my recommendations randomly and wow I love the reimagine of sign of evil. The tune mood is despair and it shows the current state of the earth crumbling by the Demon when Player arrived at the city level.

Its super duper good at the beginning but when the guitar just comes busting in it sounds less badass and just too much. Sign of Evil should be a somber and atmospheric track. Putting heavy metal in it just kind of muddles and loses that effect.
