Very useful thanks as trying to repair a TI-59 with board corrosion from battery vapours. Caps and LM324 fail tests as yours did. Do you have a source / maker's model code for the 33uF caps. UK suppliers list a 2V Kemet small enough but lead times to stock next year. Also odd keyboard problems, accepts numbers, calcs squares and reciprocals but not square roots and logs where it hangs. Not sure if a logic chip or keypad problem.
Damn that sucks... Yes over here in the US its also back ordered now till jan... Use a meter and be sure they are failed. But yea, most likely. Its the size that sucks. There is no room in there with a batter in place or the printer hooked up. It might be possible to use a very slightly smaller uF. A 27uf or even 22uf *MIGHT* work. So maybe you can find some of those.. Its these Kemet parts.. 2V..
