At around 1:25 I meant the 89, "This and the 89"
A T8 screwdriver is required to take it apart
The back cover jut needs a modification. I have an upcoming video for that.
I Updated the OS and showed the trig functions that are missing here (Upcoming upload)
The combined memory on a 92 fresh out of the box is around 200KB and about 191KB for 92 Plus
The free flash on a 92 Plus is about 720KB
If you have lesser number of RAM of ROM, it means your calculator came with preinstalled programs or apps

A really nice and informative video which went quite a way in answering a lot of the questions I had regarding the TI-92/92+ line. Calculators aren't normally in my scope of interest, but the TI-BASIC qwerty units have some overlap with my Pocket Computer hobby. Thank you!

These calculators are real easy to overclock, there's a hackaday bit on it. Change a resistor and cap, and boom, 29mhz. You can even upgrade the flash for faster access easily too!

no no no... the Voyage 200 was the Successor to the TI 92 +, not the predecessor

There are a couple of versions in between the TI92 and TI92+ - . there is a TI92 II. There is a module that makes a TI92 into a TI92II, and lastly there is a module for the either the TI92 or TI92 II that turns it into a TI92+. I have seen very few of these modules pop up on eBay and surmise that there are calculators sold with these modules inside and the seller does not know it is in there.

the expansion modules end up demanding similar prices to hp 48 gx/sx expansion cards... which can end up being more than the calculators!

Nice. I snagged a 92+ for about $35, after getting a Voyage. Saw several TI92's advertised as 92 Pluses, the sellers were ignorant as to why they are different. While I have a Voyage, 89, 89 Titanum, and 92+, I don't have a 92. I was able to upgrade the Voyage's OS using my link cable and TI Connect, but not the 92+, it will not connect. The 92 can see my TI89 Titanium and my Ti200 Voyage but I don't think I can use the Voyage to upgrade calc to calc.

The 92+ has a better keyboard, and a considerably better screen than the 92. The TI Connect software can be unstable at times. Trying a different PC might help. You can only use the link cable to upgrade the 92+ if you have another 92+ running a newer OS, otherwise you must use the silver link cable to upgrade it using a PC.

With the pro version of graph89 you can. Just download the EE pro app on your phone, then select the "Install Application / Send Files" option in Graph89 and locate the EE pro app.
