Ti Mamoun J-Vens 

It appears that J-Vens of "Ti Mamoune" fame, has left us. He has succumbed to the wounds he suffered when he was hit by a car on Delmas 40b in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He had since been in a coma, and then paralyzed. I am proud to have been able to bring his hit song, "Ti Mamoune" to life as part of HaitiXchange Digital Media. Details are sketchy, and I am working on providing further details.

My girl is 100% haitian, and i'm 50% haitian, have to say that because a lot of us (born-americans) from Haitian parents rarely and wouldn't like this kinda song. J-Vens (Ti Mamoun):Update Critical Condition in Coma - Hospital Offers to Help with Medical Costs English ------------- I have just come from the Bernard Mevs hospital off of Port-au-Prince’s Airport Road. I met J-Ven’s father, who was understandably distraught. He was crying, and talking to someone on the phone, trying to figure out how he was going to pay for an operation that was immediately needed. They allowed me to go in and see J-Vens. I realized that he was in much critical a condition than I had thought. He is lying there, in a coma, broken arm and leg, having difficulty breathing, and in obvious pain. I finally realized how dire his situation really was. My initial thought was to get some footage of he and his father in order to get a Gofundme campaign to raise funds. Since video is understandably not allowed in the hospital, I did what I could to obtain the proper permission. I was quickly ushered into the offices of Dr. Bitar brothers, who offered to pay for J-Vens’ medical care instead of allowing us to do a Gufundme campaign which they have seen used fraudulently in the past. They are big fans of J-Vens, and offered to help. For this we are ever so grateful to the Bernard Mevs hospital and staff. As I write this, J-Ven is underoing an operation.
