Man Carlos a real dude! Met him and gave him my music and he followed me on Twitter right there and told "You got talent keep grindin" and got me a show at the Atrium and didn't even know me! RIP to Shawty Lo!
I love how he gives Lo his respect. Even after all that, that some real shit. Some real OG shit. And that story of him pulling up while TI was plahing Dunn Dunn thats crazy!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love how he gave Lo is respect!
This is insane. I remember this beef vividly cause Tip was my favorite rapper at the time. But I never really took into account how much older Lo was. It’s crazy hearing that he was really the man in Bowen Homes before TI.
TI was never the man of bowen homes. He only claims the Westside cause his grandma stayed there and he would be there over the summers. Hes actually from the southside. Riverdale.
All the way up till about 2007 "you just had to be there." You had to be outside. You had to be at the park, at the parties, etc. MySpace couldn't help you. I miss them days.
@4everDonDada nah, by 2012 social media was in full swing. RU-vid was prevalent and all that. 2007 and before you literally just had to be there. phones didn't have video for the most part. The only way you knew something had happened is if you were there or knew someone who was.
TI won that battle, after TIP drop “what up, whats happnin” it was checkmate but Shawty Lo was and is still undeniable. Lo was just different and was authentic. LLLo #kingofbankhead
Man you lost it. Lo won when he dropped Dunn Dunn. You don't hear what's up what happenin anymore unless you looking for it. Go to any club in the entire state of Ga today and its guaranteed that Dunn Dunn gonna get played with whole club saying "it must be 2 sides". Yeah tip might've won lyrically but when he came to leaving a lasting impression on the other, it most definitely go to Lo.
@@CB-pd8xvyea I'm wit you. I fucked wit T.I heavy back then so I felt What's up what's happenin was better but Lo definitely had the streets. Kinda like Wop vs Jeezy.
*I find it very very weird that people be in comment sections making up lies about T.I. when every tells the same story about him... HE STANDS/ STOOD ON HIS BUSINESS AT ALL TIMES*
I find it weird ppl be so enamored with ppl they dont know they cant just call shit what it is. Its public record brody dry snitched in court. He didnt straight up tell, but he corroborated the stories of those that did. That's not solid.
@marcusaurelius6873 Bruuuuuh move along. You contradicting yourself. Plus you just blatantly lying! That man only answered questions about him having a show, and who was in HIS VAN WITH HIM. See you the perfect example of weird. You know there's video yet you still lying saying "he dry snitched". 😏
@@804MRMAN Wtf you talkin bout 😂. Its video of him ON THE STAND corroborating the story of the dudes that told what happened that night. I believe the guys name is Hosea Thomas. You clown niggas can give a pass for that but like I said yal fans. That's cool be a fan. Some of us will use logic. Is what it is. Also, where's the contradiction?😂
@@804MRMANfactual. He sat right there and said he never saw who shot at them. Didn't point nobody out. The nigga who shot at them, brother snitched on him. And I'm from Cincinnati. It's well known around here.
Being in Atlanta since I was a kid both they music was blasting in the golden glide lol can’t even imagine how lit cascade was back then I didn’t get a chance to go until I got in my 20s 😂 I was always told that’s where grown folks skated .
@@drecocarlyle3261tip wasn't out there like lo... Lo been through wars and had major respect throughout ATL even his enemies respected him... TI was hustling but it's levels to the game. TI was a baby compared to Lo
@@Yucki3 not take away I'm not doing that at all just showing the difference... TI was beginner stage when lo was a big dog... Just saying ti never became a big dog in the streets from trapping...
I believe TI because his first album "something serious" was his best lyrical work and it was a real studio album. However, he obviously liked the trap boy music because every subsequent album was trap music. He damn near founded and developed the sound.
I’m definitely a T.I. fan from the start, but if you consume a lot of music…… the artist that pushed / coined the trap music genre is definitely Gucci. The streets and bootleg CD sellers can confirm this 😂🤞🏾
No da fucc it wasn’t it wa his most honest pure album he was just 19 out the streets that wasn’t no banger it was classic cuz he was his first Trap muzik ,better songs, lyrics, hits 24,Rubberbandman,Be east Let’s get away, etc ..I’m serious is damn near he’s worst album after urban legend which was way too commercial Get loose, stand up n those filler songs …besides later album im serious was his weakest but rawest album he’s sounded as country as Trick daddy like country country
Hol up dis Parlae from DFB !??? Bruuuuh I was a HUGE fan of you when I was a jit bruh ! I’m happy af to see you doing good and still out here making moves !
I respect Kang and Parlae for this interview and if you lived on Bankhead during the reign of Los, you would know how big Los was in the streets. I stayed on Gertrude, Evelyn and next door to Bankhead Seafood on Bankhead in the gray house during these times. Bear the barber used to cut my hair up the street by Hollywood Rd and I got my 4 ways from Bingo (Shop Boyz CEO) behind Bowen Homes. No lies told in this interview.
Rns i stayed on Madrona Street behind the A Town wings bro. Everything you saying is true Lo was Everywhere, used to see him all thru the hood and even up Greenbriar in the stores
🕊SHAWTY LO🕊 b4 he passed away gotta bunch of cool videos where he rides around with a dude & tries food popeyes burger king taco bell ect. Thats 🕊Shawty LO🕊
They both from Bankhead Lo is from a Project in Bankhead T.I. Is from Cedar Ave stop being a dick riding fan that man dead and gone T.I. Jus telling how it started
Tip Grandma house still off Bankhead shawty. He's born and raised in Atlanta stupid. Tip is the Westside dummy. Everyone knows Shawty Lo was hating because he said Tip rejected his offer to do a song with him. Listen to Roll the dice by Shawty Lo. Enough said.
Ti and my relationship is funny. My momma introduced to me to his grandmama when I was 16, she said “oh, you listening to ti, I help is grandma all the time” he look just like her. My mama worked at the Sullivan center and they used to call her Christmas or Ms Santa from zone 1-4. I ain’t never had nun but good experiences with Tip from the time I bought a mixtape from em in riverdale, to the time I bought his album from one of the PSC cats and took it to New York and niggas in Harlem was like “this nigga got Pharrell as a producer!” On I’m serious. Literally used to see him and his son at the Barnes and noble all the time, king is SMART SMART for a reason, y’all thank Tip for that. Used to make the Krystal’s sandwiches for them specifically when I was on probation cause the ladies at (and some niggas) would freeze when he and his wife would come through the Krystal’s in Stockbridge. A brother shot the Krystal’s up shortly after he froze up in front of TIP, cause I put him on the spot me and Tip laughed at Marquette. I love the brother, he like family, but he done did some things I don’t agree with. That TIP hotline shit, I disagree with, but I know he had to get out, so it’s rough.
That's what I wanna hear about 😅 that boy Luda wasn't no chump. That "plz stay off the T I P of my dii!" Line was 🔥🔥 itself on the junt he did on young buck album
@@shootermcgavin214 I'm tryna tell you, ppl be sleeping on Luda like check his resume 🤷🏾♀️😅 Luda crazy with them bars. He's not Luda for nothing. 🎶Luda, I'm so truda, smokin that stanky Budda.... 🎶🎶
1. shawty lo and Carlos same person 🤔 2. He not feeling the song🤔 3. Compliment his song🤔 4. Act surprised because he dissed you on the song🤔 5. Ran the light🤔
I remember Shawty Lo dropped that I’m da man mixtape then had the movie to go wit it. When he said ”it must be 2 sides” it was UP after that. LL Bankhead LL Bowen homes.
idc cuz! Tip knew that was LO! 😂 main Reason he denied doing the song with him he remembered as a Youngin how homey did em. So he just returned the favor... aint no way u don't remember a big dog from yo section wether u liked him or not. This a classic story of idles turning to rivals! 🤷🏽♂️. Glad the beef wasn't street worthy.
I've personally met and hung out with Parlae and he is a cool dude. It's awesome knowing his background hitting that horn on the podcast having fun. He deserves that. WAs just wasthing the Field Mob interview.
I went to Riverdale h.s. & Riverdale Middle...& so did T.I. Shawty Lo was even sent Clifford's yearbook pic at RHS by someone. He's in our middle school yearbook as well. But Tip got kicked out of rhs & had to go to Doug bc he went to live w his grandparents off Bankhead after that. So Lo proved his point, thats why it didnt get ugly
@@capellojones5305 lol nah u get yo facts straight he went elementary on the westside w gma. But he went to middle school & h.s. in Riverdale. That's why Lo said, it must be 2 sides, because nobody from the Westside remember him being outside on Bankhead...because he was indeed on the Southside, smh Rip RonRico, tip used to run behind him in h.s...in MY neighborhood off hwy 138
@@bles05u missed his point. The whole time Tip stayed on Bankhead with his grandma. He went to riverdale @ some point but came back Doug. Lo knew who Tip was obviously if he wanted a feature. Tip turned him down & because Lo was the big drug dude in the area he tried to come @ Tip cuz of the diss. He knew Tip had some kinda affiliation to Bankhead.
@@zakjones1277 I hear that, yeah I got some more info on his whereabouts 💯. I just remember tip mama stayed off Rountree Rd. across from RHS so I seen him a lot & he used to hang at RonRico house all the time which was in my neighborhood off 138 in Riverdale
When they say the first shall be last and the last shall be first that is real watch how you treat people because you never know the position they going to be in
It's crazy that you can actually see/hear the difference when Tip do interviews on the typical outlets like Breakfast Club, etc vs when he choppin it up with another Atlanta nigga. That level of comfort is hella noticeable. I fuck wit it.
