I wouldn't be surprised if there were other people feeling the same. Of course I, we, don't have any rights to tell you what to do with your own content but I'd really like to ask you to reconsider this decision. Maybe doing a kind of "pre-release" through patreon would be an option?? I know quite some successful reaction channels who are doing this and it seems to work quite well. This way you'll still be able to earn lots from those videos but won't disappoint too many people / lose too many viewers. Wacken 2013 starring Nightwish and co-starring the 80,000 is..wow!! The juxtaposition of her insane range and presence and the bands hard hitting insane talent is incredible

The Warning band - Queen of the Murder Scene. A woman's descent into obsession, madness, murder and suicide. It's their 2nd album and is a concept album with each song building on the story. For a single song the title track could be used for Halloween. The live show from CDMX or from the Whiskey a Gogo has good audio. BTW, Nightwish has 9 studio albums so doing one song a week will take you over a year. That doesn't even include the side projects such as Marko with Delain, Floor on Beste Zangers or Marko and Floor with Ayreon. Additionally, Tuomas and Troy are in the band Auri and Kai was the drummer of Wintersun.

How lucky that this song won the dice! One of the best of their catalog specially this performance. Also I want to support you whatever decision you take with the channel, you can't please everybody so do as you feel, although I agree with SoundOcean the preRelease option is a good one that works for other channels. Type O-Negative "Black No. 1" is a pretty good metal song for Halloween - the music video is great, but it cuts out part of the song.

Great reaction 🤘 Scaretale by Nightwish is a good one. Has a Nightmare before Christmas vibe to it. Also Northern Kings cover of Creep. Another artist would definitely be King Diamond, and basically anything he has done. Suggestions though would be Family Ghost from the album Abigail or Welcome Home from the album Them. Especially if you want videos to go along with the song. His albums are often concept albums and horror stories.

As far as scary metal, I think Metallica's "Enter Sandman" is pretty scary. Of course, there's always Scaretale from Nightwish. Although I certainly understand it, I'm sorry to see you doing fewer Nightwish videos on this platform and I wouldn't be surprised if you lose subscribers over it. The song Tribal in nightwish's new album is pretty heavy, spooky and has skeletons dancing in one part. Not exactly Halloween themed but sort of fits and is worth a watch. Ghost river is also a great one that fits.

Totally agree with Type O Negative for spooky Halloween music, but beyond that you've gotta go back to the OG of shock rock, Alice Cooper. For some of the spookier stuff specifically, check out "The Ballad of Dwight Fry", "Dead Babies", "Billion Dollar Babies", "Sick Things", "I Love the Dead", and "Welcome to My Nightmare" (really this whole album).

Hey, I read a lot of comments saying that it is wrong to put this on patreon, and I kinda agree, but also kinda not. It is your channel and it is very understandable to want to make some more cash with these videos! However, there are quite a lot of people that can't afford patreon, so they would miss some reactions. What you could consider is keeping the reaction here, but the talking on patreon. There are many people who just love to see you expressing the emotions that they feel/felt when listening to the song. So you want a spooky song take a look at "Once upon a nightmare" The song itself is based upon an old horrific Nordic fairy-tale transformed to a Poem by Wolfgang von Goethe (basically the German Shakespeare) called The Erlking (Der Erlkönig) . The musical buildup is like the soundtrack of a movie with of sense foreboding of the tragedy about to happen. The story is about a father racing through the night to get help for his sick son. That, in his fever-state, is having visions of goblin king trying to seduce him to enter the land of the dead. No growling in this song and Simone just sounds divine. The tragic conclusion makes this a piece of art.
