Yes lawd. I'm in northern Indiana and around this time ham hocks are either in the meat section or completely not there. When you see them, you had better get as many as you need for holiday cooking or you'll be subbing.
I love the fact that you can cook and do things yourself. A lot of the famous people I believe get caught up in the lifestyle and have everyone do things for them. You were raised right. I'm a big fan of u and Tamera 💕
She has some serious Jackie Harris vibes, just precious. I love that she so enjoys her cooking with such flavor and love. Please invite me over for dinner.

When I was really little my granddaddy would start cooking at Thanksgiving dinner at 3 am and I was right there with him. He made greens, cornbread and yams. I was always in charge of potato salad. My favorite memory though are the sweet potato pies. I miss him and my mom. I am going to try these recipes Tia! Sending you lots of love !
I love you Tia!! God has blessed the world with your family's wholesomeness for years! Congratulations on your new baby girl! May God continue to bless you, and your entire family to infinity.

Your siblings are so brave to speak so highly of your parents. This is why I love families like yours. Yal support each other. And, truly love each other! So, I love the way my replica will taste like! Thank you!
I live in NC, good old south. We do the collard greens with vinegar and water. Best thing about thanksgiving in our southern home is Poppa’s Pecan Pie and my Momma’s Stuffing. Since i was little I have been helping my mom❤️ i love this and you ❤️❤️❤️
My parents and grandparents are from NC. We used go to NC for Thanksgiving. Do I remember the good cooking. I was skinny back thn. My relatives made a statement. Girl you are so skinny that you need some meat on your bones. I was skinny but I could eat because the food was good
I had so much pecan pie when I was a child I got tired of it. Every aunt in my family made pecan pie I can't even take the smell of it anymore. But y'all enjoy lol
I haven't tried to cook collard greens yet. That was my mothers thing and people LOVED her collard greens (she was from the south)! My older sisters cook them though. She did teach me how to clean them though. We would put the fresh collard greens in the sink, fill the sink with water and put salt in the water. I had to do it 3 times. My mom also used bacon, or ham hocks or turkey legs. She also stored her bacon fat.
Ur so darn funny and animated. Always have been. Thinking of using ur awesome Cooking Shows with my residents to start a new Therapeutic Activity with them. You always prepare food different ways for your fans; and the food always is so appealing to the eye; and scrumptious to the taste; thank you for your bubbly personality; your love for cooking; and your most important “Love to share with everyone all the time”. Thank you so much !!!
I have only watched a few of your cooking videos and I am so inspired by the few I have watched thus far. I was pregnant two years ago when I tried collard greens for the first time and I wanted to devour the whole casserole. It was heavenly. I look forward to trying some of your dishes as I want to learn and I hope that by learning I will develop a love and excitement for cooking. Thank you Tia!
