Tia gives me the woman who has reached a point where she saw being a wife wasn't all it's cracked up to be, but still has a while before she understands she doesn't NEED to be paired off for her to have a happy fulfilling life. I don't know that a messy transition like this is best done publicly, but she'll probably be ok in the end once she figures out she's always been enough on her own. When I listen to people like DDG I always think "man, you're SO close to getting to the point", because he can see that so much of working in society is based on being overworked, underpaid then discarded. I know people who have 9-5 who own 4 homes and also a landlord. Some people who own a business don’t always do well. If you are business owner if you don’t work, you don’t eat. I’ll work for 9-5 with good benefits and still eat.
My parents both worked 9 to 5:00. They own five homes (3 are rentals, they liquidated one in 2023) and paid cash for them all. This includes my home that they bought for me and my son in 2021. Life is what you make it. ❤

Does Tia have other nieces and nephews? Perhaps she was distinguishing between her other siblings' kids. Once I had kids me and my bestie's relationship significantly changed! Her kids were older than mine, and we weren't nearly as close until after my kids became teens. I was and am still closer to my bestie than my siblings.

We’ll go visit family for the holidays and throughout the year, but we can’t wait to get back home. No traffic, cheap rent, everything is only an hour or two away? Can’t beat it.

The addition of two young kids further changed the dynamics. When Tia's kids are with their dad, Tamera, her husband, and their kids are still an intact family. Tia can't just up and call Tamera if and when she needs to talk.

I worked for myself for 5 years and actually made really good money, but after the panomera, I felt too isolated from others in my profession, and wanted contact with people, even if it wasn't friends. I had 2 secretaries and a cleaner and when I found the job I have now, nothing changed because they wanted me to start a department, so they could absorb them and I still get to be a boss; I just answer to a bigger boss and I earn a little less, on average, but I'm a conveyancer/notary and that is good money no matter what, but I have evenings and weekends off, and even tho I go to the office 3 mornings a week, I only *have* to be in the office on a Thursday because Friday is when we lodge documents and I have to be there for quality control. Owning ur own business is great for entrepreneurs; I just learned that I wasn't an entrepreneur and that's ok

9-5 Is nothing to be ashamed of nor is it fit for everybody. I make six figures and work nine to five as a managerial consultant for transportation company. I'm in the office only a few days out the week and very flexible. I've been flexible for 5 years. However there's never a one size fits all and there's a range of professions that are still technically 9-5. Also entrepreneurship is not a fit for everyone nor are all entrepreneurs financially stable in any capacity. I also have my own business and I still need my 9- 5. You can do multiple things and still be happy.. Do what works for you.

My 9-5 pays six figures. Work from home and can take off when I want to. Some of these celebs need to step out of their bubble. Not everyone wants to be a business owner. Not everyone wants to be a struggle artist trying to make it. Especially since it’s not guaranteed that you will be a successful entrepreneur or business owner. How many ppl have lost their businesses and had to start over and go back to a 9-5? How many celebs later become broke after being tossed out like trash? Having to resort to scamming. I’ll happily work my 9-5 for 10 plus years.
