Tia Mowry Reveals She's No Longer “Close" With Her Sister Tamera Mowry

Can't say I'm surprised cos Tamera is devoted to her husband and kids, Tia is more out there and charting her own territory. Growing apart when you each live different lives is a given. I hope they can still find a way back to each other. They are sister sister for goodness sake

It happens. I have three brothers whom I practically raised and now that we're all older, the closeness is gone.

Why even put this out there instead of working things out with her. People are just going to eat off this unfortunate story.

Tamera was asked if she was going to be on the show and she said that she had no idea that Tia had a show she found out like the rest of the world😲 I think that Tia wants to be on her own. When they both were on their reality show years ago Tamera called Tia selfish because Tia wasn't a part of Tamera's wedding. She was nowhere to be found and Tamera's friends had to organize the wedding and support her. It was important to Tamera and Tia didn't support her.

I knew something was off when she announced her divorce on the same day her sister’s book came out. 😢

After watching their reality show, I believe Tia is the problem. JMO. Tia is the domineering of the two. She seems like if she doesn't get her way with her sister, she acts out. Tamara had such a hard time telling Tia about herself. I can only imagine how it is now. Tamara might have had differing opinions on Tia's life after divorce, and Tia saw it as her not being supportive. Also, Tia seems to be the type that wants you to drop everything for her, and when you have your own family, that's not realistic. Hopefully, they can get close again. SN: Announcing your divorce on the same day as your sister announces her book is selfish. It reminded me of Tia booking a weekend away while pregnant, saying it was their last weekend before being parents, BUT she did it the same weekend of her sister's wedding festivities.

The distance was probably caused by Tamera not being interested in the spotlight the way Tia is.

I am really not surprised. I thought Tia always took advantage of the relationship for her own gain. Tamera was more reserved than Tia. I always loved watching them though. Sometimes you grow apart, but they will always be sisters. Blessings to them both.

My goodness I have three sisters. I call them every day 3-4 times a day and we say i love you because you don’t know when it’s gonna be the last time you hear your siblings voice or see them. you know the devil have many jobs and one of those jobs is to separate families. Hopefully sister sister will come back together as you once were and put it all behind you.

Because you only think about yourself! Not only were you jealous when she was getting so much attention at HER WEDDING, but also you intentionally announced your divorce the same day as her book launch. Because you didn't want her to have her moment. The TV series you two had really showed how egocentric you really are, and now you're bringing personal matters to light? You really crave this attention. It's sad.

I don't know them, but Tia seems messy. I know life changes can be difficult. But she needs to handle her business privately. It's sad that so many celebrities make closed door conversations a part of their "brand."

Hold up - Maybe my memory is off, but Tamara spoke up about her reservations when it came to Cory. Tia was always defensive about it and as a result THAT severed the ties between them. Regardless of having their own family, at the end of the day that's your sister, your twin at that! Tia can reconcile with her sister but in my opinion she owes Tamara an apology. I'm with Tamara, I'm happy to see Tia living in her truth after the divorce. She seems very happy, but some accountability definitely needs to be taken rather than putting their business out there in some documentary.🙄

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say maybe it's the fact they both got married and had children. Sometimes life itself is just happening and may not permit time to do the things we used to have time for.
