Hi! Is there an easy possibility building a HMI-Tag (datatype word) out of DB-entries which are boolean? I mean to put boolean values into a word variable to use one word for 16 errors / warnings? Thx for the video!

Hi!!! Thanks for all explanations... I wonder that are we able to create a custom alarm scroll bar? Because I am collecting alarm info in a DB, and I have alarm infos in DB. Thus I would like to write them to Screen manually by myself without using Siemens alarm bar. Is that possible?

To drag an drop the variable from the table to events, you need to grab the variable at the violet flag on the left site in the table ;)

Good afternoon, I'm trying to convert wincc flexible 2004 to TIAPORTAL V13 but it's showing the fault "rdf could not be found". I noticed that this file was not generated when converting from wincc 2004 to 2008 to TIA v13. Could you help me understand how to generate this file?

Sir, you have taken INT value in HMI tag, what if I want to generate alarm through Boolean... Broken sensor is an example of Boolean. If I want to link the plc tag (Boolean) to HMI tag, does Alarm support??

Your tutorials are very good and helpful, but my opinion is that, at least you should have it in series , for one topic just do all the tutorials in sequence 1, 2 , 3, etc

Hey Bart! Good idea, maybe I will make a video on "How to make educational videos" soon (but only maybe). The software I use for recording is called "OBS" (Open Broadcaster Software). It is used as screen recording tool and (if needed) also as streaming tool, I use it for both. Best thing about it: It's EASY and FREE! There are many tutorials online to help you get it set up, but here's the download link to start with: obsproject.com/download I like that you want to keep on teaching even though corona makes it very difficult (my classes have all been cancelled or switched over to online classes)! Keep up the good work!
