Thanks for the nice, thorough demonstration. FYI, for PID_Compact, the output mode has no effect - all values (Output, Output_PER and Output_PWM) are output regardless of the mode selection.

Hi, Nice video!!, Do we have to use PWM turned "ON" in the configuration ? We don't right ? We can use normal digital output for this like 6ES7132-6BH00-0AA0

PWM mode the first when tank empty we can adjust PID value for output on longtime, after that level near setpoint can plc auto adjust on output sort time?

Its nice simulation.🙂 but as you know most of the time use pwm for temperature control, for level control your valve shold have m.o.v Positioner and pwm input. If connect pwm pulse directly to for example solenied valve it will not work correctly or destroy piping...but your simulation was good to compare pwm vs analog, thanks a lot.🌹🌹🌹

hello can you please give me advise how to prepare below visualisation on hmi panel when operator click on a valve icon - it shows an icon on top - one for "open valve" - second for "close valve"

I need to control the temperature of 12 heating zone with individual thermocouple. For PWM, the maximum limit is 4 with S7-1200. Can I use Digital Output if I select low switching frequency for SSR as you did by setting 1 second in on/off controller.

If one need to send two output signals to control open and close on solenoid valve using pid. How do you go about it?
