On this program Dennis speaks to a variety of guests in the Estonian capital of Tallinn about the experience of visiting and living in this unique country. After a visit to the historic Old Town district of Tallinn, Dennis visits with Justin Petrone an American writer who chose to move his entire life to Estonia, speaks with Marju Rink-Abel representing the Estonian American National Council and visits with Tõnis Siigur one of Estonia's leading chefs to get a sense of Estonian fine dining.

My father was from Estonia. He fled after ww2 to America. Never hearing from his family again. He didnt know if they were alive or dead. We found out after he passed away, his mother was killed in one of the concentration camps. A believe a 2 sisters, his dad also lived. But he dodnt know unfortunately.

Correct! For us, the 2. WW ended in 1991, when occupation ended.

Plus Estonia has the most beautiful women in the world. I know, because I have an Estonian woman. It's the country with relatively the most models.

The German Luftwaffe and Soviet Long Range Aviation bombed the Estonian capital Tallinn several times during World War II.

@@blasphemy7868 Actually, if I remember correctly only Soviet Russia bombed Tallinn with their air force. Tallinn (Old Town) is a "German" city so Germans tried to damage it as little as possible meanwhile Russians hated everything German/Historic and treated the city accordingly.

@@carleryk Russians hated everything german?! Are you serious??? Who started the second world war? Who attacked first - USSR or Germany? Germans occupied Saint Petersburg and after Russians took it back from them, germans destroyed Petergof and many other architectural and historical places.

@@ivanfedotov9971 You just affirmed my point. I see it from Estonian perspective. Both Germans and Russians were occupiers for Estonia during WWII.
