Did the same thing as DanZmeN, watched it in 144p without my glasses on within a considerable distance from my screen. I really though I was watching a real mp4 video, could not believe it was still GD. This is very impressive.
Real great job dude! I know you've been working on this for a while. It would be odd for this to be rated though, since it is kinda just img to gd using triangles. I couldn't run the level either :(
Thanks! Im pretty sure its not gonna get rated too, but I just feel like arguing with the point that its “just image to gd using triangles” 1: all the visuals are made by me 2: it isn’t just a toggle/alpha trigger animation as you might think. Every pixel (consisting of two triangles) are assigned a group (controlling the slope of the pixel) and two colors. all the pixels are controlled by color and toggle triggers. 3: This, in addition to utilizing color trigger fade duration and some basic “compression” drastically reduced the objects and lag compared to if it had just been img to gd
damn.. did you use some kind of script to automate the making of this? i cant help but feel that itd take an impossible amount of time to do this by hand
Pretty I’ve seen this from National Geographic before, but either way the amount of effort is insane and I hope this gets first place feature for a month.
In case you probably don't understand, you have to watch this +10 ft away from your computer or mobile... and this looks so sick. Good job to you Spu7nix
OH POR DIOS! Me puse a cierta distancia de mi Laptop me quite los lentes (tengo graduación de 1.5) y disfrute la película y me quede con la boca abierta, ha sido I N C R E Í B L E ! ! Demasiado talentoso Spunix, demasiado para GD! Todo un crack!
Just sit about 10 feet from your monitor and suddenly... bam, you're watching a motion picture about a little raccoon. I think it's a racoon, at least.
Holy shit. At first I had no clue what the fuck was going on then I closed by eyes and all I saw was a motion picture. This is insane. Keep up the good work
just squint your eyes and blur your vision by going a little crosseyed. Also did u use a program to make this? because if you did it all by hand your then …...…………. HOW?
