@@borgri5871 I think the actor who played him had moved on to something outside of acting, so instead of replacing him with another actor (which would have been impossible) they had to have him die. It is a massive shame though
Hail Anton Slavic. Leader of the brotherhood. Protector of the ways taught by Kane. "one vision, one purpose" "peace throw power, peace through power" " the technologies of peace"
@@jillvalentinefan77 A claim he never confirms or denies - how much of that story is true and how much is legend is still up for debate all these years later…
Command and Conquer was a huge part of my growing up. I can't count how many times I played through the Nod campaigns of each game and Tiberian Sun was my favorite of them all.
"This morning was the most glorious morning in the history of the Earth. Peace, is upon us. A gif to every man, woman, and child, from the Brotherhood of Nod. Victory! Not just for our people, but for our species. The time for questioning is over. Rising from our trenches, our bunkers, our factories, we must all now partake in the technology of peace. 1 purpose, 1 vision. Tiberium is the way and the life. Today the sun rises on a new world, and a new people. The end, is the beginning."
IMAO, CnC3 is the best game in series. Yes, it has it's own disadvantages (no more Forgotten in the story or Tiberium-based lifeforms in the gameplay), but overall it is a great game
So Kane returned to Heaven by ascending Humanity to redeem himself for killing his brother Abel in the first murder. So from murderer to life giver to all of Humanity.
Neither one nor the other. The answer is different. Divination very very deiffers from usual mutation(forgotten like) and of course differs much more from turning into visceroid(which accompanied with death of subject and random chaotic transformation dead tissue under tiberium influence). It's much like a becoming an uber human. The only thing that is known that it will be ressistant to tiberium and will be regenerate in it. And definitely, as i sad above, it will be differs from frogotten mutant and visceroid, will be not so chaotic(mutant) like them, more "normal", it will be stabile feature.
Hence the Nod ending would of turned the entire planet from Carbon to Tiberium and humanity would simply evolved over night. Imagine living in a world where you don't have to eat, drink water, and pain doesn't exist. That is what Kane wanted for Earth as a gift to humanity. His personal goal was to lure the Scrin out so they would harvest the planet but instead of coming to a world where only a handful of lands had Tiberium thick enough for the Scrin, they would come to a planet covered in it, the difference is the fact that they would think Earth would be destroyed by Tiberium and instead they would show up seeing The Brotherhood of Nod waiting for them. I don't understand why people think GDI are the good guys.
Its because of the belief that the games pprtray nod as evil and gdi as good. Nod does experiments on humans, uses flame tanks, performs live executions. Executions of those who fail nod. Cnc 3 had that whole thing with Killian Qatar. She wanted nod as a superpower, kane used nod as a tool to aid the scrin build the towers and use them. Kane basically doesnt value human lives. There is little nuance in the games to who is evil. I always liked nod more because divination or being a uber human/cyborg is great.
It's because Kane believes the needs of the few are more important than the needs of the many. In war, people will die. That's one of the things I liked the most about Nod, they are more realistic in their objectives than GDI is. GDI simply wants to destroy Tiberium, Nod wants to evolve with it. The entire war wasn't ever about destroying GDI, they just happened to get in the way.
Tell them that they're only gonna get it if they use it for actual good, go back and freeze EA. And that they shouldn't worry about any paradoxes happening due to cryoweapons being used in EA-developed RA3, world is better off red rather than blue anyway. :P
I think they're actually the Artillery unit, from Tiberian Sun, the cannon barrel and the radio aerials at the back fit the unit as seen in-game. The choppers flying overhead are the modest Harpies :)
They would come like they do in C&C3 but Cabal was programmed to deal with them as soon as they reached Earth while divine humans get used to their tiberium base life.
thomas gaylard There's a chance of that, but the problem is, if this scenario were to happen divine humans now need Tiberium to survive and thus they can't allow the Scrin to harvest it all, the whole point of their coming is to literally take their tech and make use of it. Divines would become an inter-galactic power.
You can feel Kane’s conviction in his speech. I don’t think he’s lying or manipulating here. He is genuine and sincere in his conviction: he believes his vision for humanity will bring about a glorious new dawn. Brotherhood. Unity. Peace. One Vision. One Purpose.
My favourite cutscene in Tiberian Sun. Peace through power! btw, the Tacitus is an alien artifact that is the key to unlocking the secrets of tiberium if it can be translated.
the speech gives you the real hope when the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown have finally finished. This morning was the most glorious morning in the history of the earth. Healing is upon us. A gift to every man, woman and child from the Brotherhood of Nod. Victory, not just for our people, but for our species. The time for the pandemic is over. Rising from our hospitals, our homes, our lockdowns, we must all now partake in the technology of healing. One purpose, one vision! Convalescent Plasma is the way and the life. Today the sun rises on the new world and a new people. The end is the beginning!
I must admit, the first time I had completed this campaign, I actually was horrified by what had I done to humanity. And... I think Philadelphia was expanded by the time of the Third Tiberium War.
Well done, Nod player, you have just killed everyone on Earth, including Anton Slavik, Oxanna Kristos, and yourself - so Kane can finally "ascend". Really well done! *_slow claps_*
the weird thing is that it seems everyone here actually thinks this makes him the real good guy guess it's just as well it's only a game and not real life =P
The soundtracks of this game make it very spell-binding. Also, Kane is right: since we can never remove Tiberium from our planet nor stop it from spreading, we might as well make ourselves adapted to it. Carbon-based life is a thing of the past. It would be the greatest evolution in the history of our world. In the technology of peace!
so basically, in C&C 3 everything still happens, the liquid tiberium detonation, the destruction of the philadelphia and possibly kane's ascension (but we will never know that as after the open ending of Kane's wrath there hasn't been any C&C since)
This is how EA scumbags should be destroyed by Kane... This video will play when EA will finally let go of C&C and petroglyph will pick up C&C from the ashes. One day my brothers. Peace through power XD
I think attracting the scrin would've been the primary purpose of this. The fact that humanity would be united and prepared would just help with his "ascention".
Apparently when Kane does that arm spread thing he's teleporting away. It's actually optional in the original game to finish off the Temple with the Ion Cannon, and you get a special ending with him doing that motion exactly. Presumably you catch him off guard in that ending, and smoke half of his face lol
That maybe, but personally I don't like idea of single C&C Universe. Red Alert with time travels and funny tone just don't fits Tiberian Series well. For me even Red Alert shouldn't be Tiberian Dawn's prequel. Again: This is my personal opinion.
Actually Red Alert 2 and 3 could easily fit into the Tiberian universe because both games take place in the 1950's and 1970's respectively. Tiberium arrived on earth in 1995 and the first Tiberium war started around that time. That was also the first time Kane reappeared since his advisory role for the Soviets. Nod has a tendency to lay low, so the events in RA2 and 3 could easily have happened during that time. They just aren't cross referenced in other games.
Ok...ok well it really depends on how strong tiberium present in the area so for example: yellow zones will become more like red zones and most life will most likely become mutants.
The earth is already being terraformed by tiberium - this just accelerated the process. And I for one welcome the end of humanity as I was never the species biggest fan...
can't wait for cnc3 who will win. This is the most inspiring video in all cnc games it gives the player a feel of power and pride.I was once a gdi follower but they lied to me and now I follow kane as he bring peace to the whole world with the technologie of peace kane.lives in death!
