Tiberius T8.1 MAXIMUM POWER (Max Velocity) Test and Fixing Solution!

WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME
Maxing out the velocity on the Tiberius T8.1 paintball pistol, using 0.68 Caliber rubber rounds shooting at over 380fps, and popped the oring at last, and then fixed it and re-tuned it to the safer zone. Please DO NOT attempt this at home, because it can be very dangerous. The Tiberious T8.1 function the best at max is the 300-320fps range with rubber balls as tested with mine. BUT For most paintball games, you cannot go over 300fps, and so that's more than enough! This test is just to shot the power, and what the gun is capable of doing. Personally, I think if I can reinforce the seals, the gun might be okay to shoot at 380fps too, but why bother? NEVER shoot your friends or anyone with a marker until you have chrono'd the gun to shoot at a safe velocity and also make sure the guy know they are being shot etc. Use common sense!
The gun, when firing at maximum velocity in this video, produces over 25 joules of energy, and is very dangerous, which is not recommended! BUT for the educational purpose, now you know why you should not tune it to this power level - because your gun will pop and the o-ring will break apart, and your gun will be busted. Play safe and shoot safe!

I have a question that I cannot find an answer to, looking at the Back of the Latest version of the T8.1 Pistol I see 4 screws, 1 is the Power adjustment on the Right lower just above that is the small screw which I believe is the regulator which is the one you broke your seal and Teflon taped My screw is a Allen screw Not a screw with a head on it, the other small screw to the Left of the one you Teflon taped what is that for? Should that one also be Teflon taped? I am getting leaks and I believe that the one you Teflon taped is the problem and My Pistol Marker is at the stock setting I lubed as you show but still leaking

this video is outdated, I found out later that it is the shop that sells me the gun who got a wrong screw on the gun, since they played with it! It should be allen screw, and no you do not need to tape it up with teflon tape. If your rear end is leaking, it should be your regulator having a hole not plugged with the plastic cap, which is why it is leaking to the back (which is supposed to connect to the air tank at the back for a rifle setup)

I bought T8.1 recently. I was turning up the velocity, in steps, but at a certain point, it just gave a big bang and all CO2 went out at once. It now does not hold any CO2. I guess an O-ring popped then. Any suggestions were to look first?

I would be interested in a power at distance test. My house is 40feet long, if I was shooting at 40 feet what would be the felt Impact Power at say 25 feet and again at 40 feet. This would be real world power, is it Knock down power at those distances, or do you have to be very close like 10 feet to 15 feet away from someone in your House, for any kind of knock down power. What are the Power Losses at those distances? By the time someone is in your house, Running toward you, and gets within 10 feet from while running toward you, That much stress can really screw with your Mind. I have two T8.1 guns they both have leaked all the co2 out from day one since New and Not able to really shoot them. They need some adjustments? to get them so they dont leak, sometimes they leak through the Mags sometimes through the gun, they leak on First shot, leaking all CO2. What is the T8.1 stock regulator setting on the large Allen screw? I have the Small Allen screw screwed all the way in. On that screw/oring that blew out the O-ring could you use Blue Loctite to seal the screw, and No Oring? what size screw/thread is that one that the O-ring blew out

geyerking thanks for watching but you must have missed my recent ones where I found the better tune up and the max power of this gun. It's now shooting at 32 joules max with a scary power.. one Co2 for 8-9 shots only but the power with breaker ball is just INSANE crazy. More scary than the FN303 riot gun already. Oh thats great. Thank you. I will come back to you. Just bought the Tiberius 8.1. Unfortunately German Weapon Law is very restrictive. The pistol is limited at 7,5 Joule and the screw which adjust the power is blocked by a plastic seal. If broken you are in serious trouble with the weapon law. German have the most restrictive weapon law on earth due to ist agressive past in ww1 and ww2.

geyerking LOL , well like if you just open up the reg and do some changes and plug it back, I don't even think shit will know about your doings.. but ya.. lol.. just saying... even with 7.5 joules though, if you fire pepperballs or breaker balls, it will still put someone down, it's just less power, but I have seen 5.8 joules gun pop a breaker ball at someone and the gun dropped RIGHT to the ground instantly - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KBhZJACn9Pw.html - this guy use a leaky gun and shit, 5.8 joules max.. and you see what happen? now imagine your 7.5 joules

How exactly I can regulate kinetic energy in this pistol? Is it this bolt just below the rear sight for energy regulation? If so, how to catch it? Ordinary screw-driver is useless. What kind of tool it needs to be effectively handled with?

MrMatthewliver This is actually an old video already, the new video I did can show more power on the pistol. Max I can get now is 32 joules with breakker balls. You cannot "regulate" kinetic energy, you can only have the regulator work to regulate the air pressure to feed into the bolt and stuff. You cannot use the screw driver, you need to use the allen key.....

this is already outdated, i have tuned the t8.1 to shoot 3g paintball over 450fps, and the breaker ball at about 300-320fps all the time, and this will do no damage to the gun, the oring in the ac chamber just need to be lubed well with silicone grease then it's all good to go

it is a screwing mechanism, usually i store the gun with balls and co2 inserted but don't screw in the screw all the way, then when you need it, just give it 1/4 turn and it will gas up and can shoot right away.
