Very meaning full song. It dilineates the historical territory of tibet. China is trying to mislead the world by showing only U stang as tibet. Hope one day we will be able to return and reign over the three provinces. Free Tibet. Beautiful song.
Thank you. My parents are from Markham, immediately west of Bathang. My father used to sing me Markham songs when I was small and this song sounds familiar
Hi phayu chikpa. I live in Tokyo but am in the US (New York and New Orleans) on a business trip until the 26th of April. How about yourself? If you are in New York on the 18th, 19th and 20th by any chance, we can just meet for a beer. :)
hello Namook, Sorry I didn't open my page until today, I saw your reply just now. Anyway, I live in London. My father is still in Markham, He lives in Gathok. My family name is langhang Tsang if you have heard about it. if you have happen to come to london then you are welcome at my place. which part of makham are you?
hi ikhamo.. you probably know this.. in the subtitle it says 'aa chi la trom'.. isn' it 'aa chi la drong' (or aa kyi la drong"?) 'trom is a market.. well.. im not sure my self.. wondering..
the song is actually, "a kyi la drong" meaning, what a happy town. kyi is for happy. drong is for town. because of khampa dialect it sounds like chi instead of kyi.
