Oh wow, yesssssss, the brothers from the BX and when they pushed them out of Washington sq park they were in Central Park at the stairs.I still have the pics of their performance.Very talented guys
@@rimasingleinny1871 I wish I had taken pictures bk then. I met a lot of the guys that performed their routine in the park. I guess I thought those good times would never end.
@@alfrazier8389 I wish I could share here, when they moved to Central Park they were performing at the bottom of the stairs by the pond.I have the pic of him walking all the way down on his hands.
These guys are amazing. To think of he creativity and energy they put into this, along with the hard, hard work they had to do to develop the physical ability out all the moves the way they do. Amazing!
I remember seeing this episode as a jit in FL. We had to get our NY fam to send us recordings and watch on VHS lol. I remember me and my brother trying the mini man move right after lol. 20+ yrs later I still remember their act. Legends.
I remember being somewhere between 19 & 21 myself when this show first aired. I dressed just like them if had on same clothing and I'm from Charlotte, NC; now the young black men are wearing skintight Capri denims with open heel flip flops and shower shoes.
Every generation has it's own fashion trends, and what goes around comes around every 20 to 30 years. The guys are wearing skinny pants and short shorts now... just like their daddies and granddaddies were wearing in the 1980s.
I need to know where are they now, they were in Times Square, Washington Sq park and the Central Park for years. They have to be in the late 40’s now. What are they up too, Susie I used to stay watching them on the streets and they are hands downs ICONS on the NYC streets
I was in middle school when I first saw this. I remember me and my brother doing our own version of their routine for the school talent show. We were bboys (breakdancers) so this just added to what we were able to do. Always thought these brothers were dope. Are y'all still performing?
I was there that day and you guys were amazing !! But my question is why didn't you guy's pursue your show . Also how come you brother's didn't change up , here they've got you guy's doing the same thing over and over and over again . Are you brother's still doing y'all thing or what . Peace ✌️

@@tacbarnes6627 Thanks for responding and you guys are legends, too! I'm familiar with BDK's dancers, but I'm referring to the tall, linky duo..twins maybe, that auditioned and won like 5x consecutively..prior to you guys. Either way, thanks for great talent, skill, and blessing our culture ✊🏾✊🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🥰 late 80s..before Steve Harvey hosted. I'm 50😉
