Tico-Tico no Fubá is a choro composed by Zequinha de Abreu. It was immortalized in the voice of Carmen Miranda, and over time, it became one of the most well-known Brazilian songs in the world.
It was performed for the first time at a ball in the city of Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, in 1917, under the name of Tico-Tico no Farelo. The song received its current name in 1931, since there was another song of the same title, composed by Canhoto. In the same year it was included for the first time on disk, recorded by the Colbaz Orchestra.
Errata: Some chords from the first repetition cipher of part A are incorrectly ciphered in these videos, due to an error when writing the score, but it is only the cipher, the chords, as they really sound, are correct.
