Tic watch was my first smartwatch and will probably be next smart watch, even with my OP phone

Regarding the crown being activated by your hand, manufacturers typically state to wear the watch above your wrist bone. If you do, your hand won't hit the crown when doing push ups.

I wear all my watches above my wristbone, all of them get activated constantly while working out. It's why I tend to stick with with Galaxy watches with no crown.

While I love my pixel watch 2, I do miss the dual layered screen from my 2020 Tic watch Pro. Mobvoi will always be on my radar. Very attractive design, and the sapphire display is quite compelling. It's odd that I feel like I need a case and screen protector for my watch 2. Great showcase as always Juan! Edit: Typo

I have a Ticwatch E3 with bad buttons. Because I remove them since they will get stuck making the watch useless, I lost the mic as well (so, no Google Assistant, no calls from the watch) As a gift, it is quite a nice watch. And with Wear OS 3.5, it got a bit better. Battery is basically a day or a bit more for me even when I sleep with it tracking the whole night. Now, if I were to buy it, or any of the Mobvoi Wear OS watches, the prices aren't that good. That's the whole problem with them. You can get Galaxies, Pixel and OnePlus watches at similar prices with upgraded specs and software. I just don't understand why they're so expensive but still behind the other brands (or maybe I do: Google)

The quality of mobvoi ain't good, have had some of them, but 3 of 4 broke. So before getting another one, I'll have to have reinsurance that the quality is way better. That's my take, but the software and hardware is good for the battery, no doubt about it. Love it.

One nice thing about being left handed - the crown always faces the other way when wearing a watch. Never understood why watch companies do that, it makes no sense

No other way other than to wear it on your left wrist. Since the time I have been wearing watches, I have to wear this watch on my left hand just to make use of the crown.

Shame about the software situation with these watches, would probably be buying this if it shipped with wear OS 4 and google assistant as the hardware looks great and the battery life is a huge upside for me. I'll wait and see what's happening with the software up until the pixel watch 3 is announced. If there's no OS 4 and assistant, I'll be getting the pixel watch 3.

I've been rocking the Pro 5 for 9 months now, crazy to think it's been that long haha. Love the hardware, the displays, the crown, the battery life is GREAT. My issues though are that for one, it over tracks my steps. If I go driving, it'll track steps, if I'm rolling around in bed, it'll track steps, if I sneeze, it'll track steps, etc. That and the sleep tracking has been pretty bad. It's a bit annoying because now I find myself checking my phone's step tracker and just completely ignoring the sleep information the watch gives me.
