Hi Sonya. I have just packed up 30 +years of my craft room as I have moved house. I usually put broken/ bent needles and pins into a small container (old film container) and throw them out together. Spice bottles work as well.

Those cutting mats can warp if they get too warm. But adding heat to them when they are on a flat surface can reset them. Also sometimes it helps to soak them in water to reset them. People here put them in a bath tub to soak, then set them out on the cement patio in the sun to dry and they are as good as new.

Oh Sonya I can really understand all your “ stuff “ because I too have hordes of craft stuff. My sister makes comments about the fact I have to much. She just doesn’t understand crafters like you and me. She once said if I pass before her and she has to clean my house out she would bring in a dumpster, open my craft room window and just throw it all out. I gasped and said she had to donate it to a thrift store.

It really worries me about what will become of all our treasures when we pass . During a family gathering, I told them I wanted to be buried with all my treasures to save them dealing with it, someone said it would have to be a mighty big skip bin they'd have to bury me in 😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂
