Is this easy to clean or do you leave it open to air out?

I usually rinse out the inside with plain water and then wipe down the outside after I use it. Unlike a regular washing machine, it doesn't hold liquid. The water will flow out the drain on the front and I can slightly tip it toward the drain to get the remaining liquid out. Since I use mine outside, I normally leave it outside about 30 minutes or so to dry before bringing it back inside.

Nice .. How many shirts does it hold FULL Load???

I'm not sure. I've put as many as 6 adult size shirts in it at a time and there was still some space left to add more. It doesn't take it long to spin the soda ash out though, so you could do multiple loads fairly quickly if you needed to.

@@FunEndeavors Hi, I am thinking of buying one of these over a more expensive portable electric dryer. My question is that my new portable washer spins (800 rpm)well enough where things come out damp and not water logged, but still takes long to dry in the house (24 hours or more); but 1-2 hours in the sun. Do you feel or have you tried to put damp clothes without any water log in this unit and find it works well and gets them dry? The only other options would be a few drying units that have mini heaters and zip up enclosures, but they dont seem all that efficient and about $70-100 each. Really dont want to spend $400 for a portable mini dryer that they jacked up the prices due to this stay at home stuff, when they use to be $250 only 2 weeks ago. They keep selling out and then jacking the prices up, you think they would lower the prices since it seems the whole world is buying them. Any advice would be great. Thank you. Love Chris

I'm sorry it took me a long time to answer, I just saw your comment. This unit spins at 3200rpm, and I usually stop it before the entire cycle is up for tie dye shirts. Otherwise, the shirts will be almost too dry for me to tie. After I tie a shirt to tie dye, it honestly will only take a few hours inside to get completely dry. You can see the water coming out of the drain spout on the front - so you could even run it another cycle if you wanted more water out.
