After the last update, I saw a big improvement, so I decided to give it a try and buy it. And the impression has been very positive so far. - the modelling of the players is very very good. - signature moves: all serves are spectacularly recreated, they are all recognisable. The rest of the shots, you can see that they are trying to include them in all the players. For example, Medvedev's forehand and backhand (as well as his serve) are totally recognisable. - Sound: excellent shouts from each player. The sound of the audience is good, although perhaps a step further is missing. To improve: the physicality of the ball, especially on flat shots. It's as if the ball was floating, it lacks weight and feels more powerful. Keep up the good work, I think you are doing a great job and the game is great for an early access. Really start to believe that the final game can be very very good.
Agree on the ball being floaty. It looks like a balloon right now even after Alcaraz smashes a forehand as hard as he can. If it went through the air quicker or maybe it's just the trajectory looks off - then it'd feel a lot more realistic.
@PapaMosconi to be fair, the movement and groundstrokes have improved already. They have topspin now to compare to so I think they’ll take their time and match it up so it’s just as smooth.
Incredible addition! I would like to see some physics in the net if possible, because it looks as if it's made of metal when it gets hit by the ball. Additional animations and less uncanny moments (like players waiting some second before triggering reactions to what happened) will make the game great, even better than top spin. I like a lot the L2 + R2 mechanic and the adrenaline abilities
One specific point that will make me buy this game or not is how much of a sim the gameplay will be and in order to have a minimum level of realism there must be a realistic amount of unforced error and foul on serves or some sliders to adjust it ourself otherwise its a gamebreaker. The improvements are encouraging
The game seems great to me. I would only add that when there is no grandstand on the court, there would be no crowd either. For example, when one creates a small ITF future or challenger tournament in venue creator, the crowd appears even if there is no grandstand and that looks unrealistic.
I wanted to let you know a bug Nacon. In a match, in the second or 3rd set only, if the score is for example 6-0, 6-5. If your player gets a game at 5-5, it will say second set(whoever you're playing as). This is wrong though, since you play to 7 after being at 5-5. Hope this makes sense and gets fixed!
Mate you should make an arcade cabinet for this. I remember playing one of the old Sega Virtua Tennis games up @ the pub and it was always in use. Could make some coinage on that ;)
Just bought it and was so nice to see kyrigos do an under hand serve on the first serve of the game. He almost caught me off guard with it then it made me be more aware of that throughout the game. Where in every other tennis I’ve played I’ve never seen that realism from a player.
Hello, I am writing from Turkey. You are selling this game and your other games about Street Power Football for $16. I understand that you did not voice the game in Turkish. It may be costly, but there is nothing more shameful than not making the interface Turkish. You can hire staff at very low costs and translate the interface into Turkish. If you cannot find anyone to do this job, I can provide you this service for free. You are losing a player base of 25,000,000 million for these small reasons.
