Injecting your own "voice" into someone's text on the internet is the inherent problem with text communication. For instance, if it was a joke, no I didn't ASSume anything about his comment. Same as YOU shouldn't have with mine. Nor should you even be a part of this conversation, answering for the OP. I asked a question to the OP, NOT you.. Maybe he doesn't understand the concept? @@kylehardy7519 if you look closely you can see that Boa wasnt talking to the original commenter. meaning that he was talking to someone that has deleted their comment.

I remember first subscribing to them just after ARK started in 2016 and they were at 1.2 million for what felt like a while.

RIP Thick44, I think them still keeping up with it and having the passion is a great way to honor his memory

to bhe fair, neebs died so shouldnt be there. His input, and comments are helping people and i feel dora on this, neebs is dead, shouldnt be there. spectators have always interfered with 7 days to die zombie agro as well. any structure or entity in the pathing of them like the clock tower and garden, hinder zombie movement around dora and others, giving them advantages. mind you, dora is also extra spicy as neebs is dead, and he is tied with simon for lives, and no one though simon would live this long LOL.

@@druidigan3631 Also, while I understand their need to have onscreen banter instead of just 3 players separately and silently going about their business (or only talking to themselves), I can see how Neebs's "ride-alongs" would be distracting to a player. If Dora's creeping through a POI on a mission and listening for nearby zombies, having Neebs following him around and yammering in his ear about paint colors or how great it is to be "retired" makes it tough to hear the danger in the next room and focus on the task at hand. Simon seems to enjoy having Neebs with him during missions BUT I've also noticed that Simon is a lot less self-reliant when Neebs is with him. Simon by himself has grown as a player; Simon with Neebs is way less decisive and sure of himself and asks Neebs about every little thing (like old "do everything for me" Simon). The only one who doesn't seem to get distracted or affected by Neebs's presence is Appsro who manages to keep the banter going while staying focused on what he's doing. As for Neebs's presence during horde nights affecting the size and location of the horde... I don't know. As a viewer, I don't mind having him there trash talking and whatnot but they should really make sure that he's not affecting whose house the zombies go to in any way. I've seen zombies attack him in previous episodes, so they're obviously aware of his presence, but does that affect their spawn point during the hordes? Idk. I mean, we all know zoms take the path of least resistance and there's no disputing that Appsro's base is the path of most resistance, so it's not surprising that they path to someone else. And, while Simon is still working mainly with wood spikes, he's got a LOT of them, so he's not necessarily the easiest target either. And Dora's base is basically a stairway, the sole purpose of which is to lead zombies right to him... so, again, not surprising that he gets most of the action, Neebs or no Neebs.

Honestly, I personally enjoy it like it is. It's perfect. 😂 Neebs has become the new zombie boss of the horde and is compromising everyone, and the way he does it is glorious.

@@DefinitelyIntoxicated i might do some early alpha playthrus soon, cos i started on alpha 19.. the alphas i most like watching of neebs gaming is 16-19.. but i also watched game society pimps play from alpha 11.. i wanna see what its like to play those old ones.. ive suggested to neebs gaming that they could do a series where they go thru each alpha 1 every week... maybe someone who works on the team could rebuild whatever they did and give them what they had on each previous alpha? or is there a mod that does that? dunno, its just an idea

I thought they were already at the maximum difficulty. Am I thinking of some other setting?

@@zerotwo6814 Zombie count got raised to max (I think its 64) it doesn’t affect their hp or damage or anything just the number that show up. 100 weak zombies that tickle you each hit is basically the same at 10 weak zombies when you play on low settings. It’s why so many people heavily mod the game or play on max difficulty/perma death. Vanilla 7 days is insanely easy

They maxed out the number of zombies but they could always raise the difficulty to like Warrior or something

During the episode, I was wondering if Dora should build a wall around his yard and if that would then cause them to path toward Appsro more often. On the other hand, I know from experience that building a wall of any strength can take a long time and a lot of resources and they only have a day to grind between hordes, so Dora probably doesn't have time for that. He's constantly stuck in the "build my base or go get ammo, because I can't do both" dilemma.

Makes for quite a lag between thought and action.

I was just commenting the same thing elsewhere. When Simon is by himself, he's leveled up as a player. When Neebs is doing a "ride-along" with him, Simon suddenly reverts to the old unsure-of-himself Simon and asks Neebs about every little thing. I get that they want some onscreen banter because this is a comedy gaming channel but Neebs's presence really affects Simon's self-perceived ability level. I'm glad Dora has called Neebs out on it a little because if I was trying to do a mission in a POI, listening for zoms in the next room, and had Neebs yammering in my ear about paint colors, I'd be annoyed too. At that point, Neebs is affecting the game when he's supposed to be out. But, yeah, Simon needs to be left alone to do missions by himself so he can continue his improvement as a player instead of reverting to doubting himself and using Neebs as a crutch.

Actually, I think it's a Simon thing, not a Neebs thing. Simon doing this with everyone is the problem. Neebs was interacting with Dora, but Dora didn't hand over all control of his arms and legs. In fact, he just told Neebs, not now.

@@sirtainlee8725 Oh, I agree that Simon does that with everyone. As soon as someone else is with him, he reverts to baby mode because he lacks self-confidence. My point is that, in this competition, Neebs is the only one doing ride-alongs with Simon, so Neebs is the one (in this instance) causing Simon to devolve. My other point is that Neebs also affects Dora, just in a different way. Neebs doesn't cause Dora to defer, he distracts Dora by incessantly talking to him while Dora is trying to avoid zombies in a POI. Sure, Dora snaps back at him... but that's Dora wasting mental processing power on arguing with Neebs instead of listening and being careful in a POI and that affects the game. Especially because Neebs doesn't stop talking even when Dora tells him to. He just argues more. To your point, though: Yes, Simon defers to ANYONE who's with him. But, to my point, Neebs is the only one with him in this series (most of the time) so it's Neebs's presence that's triggering Simon to revert to old Simon. Because we all know this will happen, Neebs shouldn't do ride-alongs because it affects the players and the game.

I understand. If I thought Simon had a chance to win something really important...well, the losers are actually the winners in this competition. More importantly, there are few things I love more than Neebs teasing Dora. Neebs comes up with these brilliant off-the-cuff analogies that leaves me crying. And the funny thing is they correctly frame the issue and leave Dora tongue-tied. I love Dora, too. It's teamwork. Both Neebs and Appsro have unlimited energy. Dora and Simon learned long ago to give up quickly. But every once in a while Dora bites, and then it happens.
