The Web Campaign will begin on Friday, March 10th and will allow players to earn / buy Event Tokens. - The "Top Items" are the T10 CL Brisbane and a 19-point Commander Matilda Kelly (with a unique Pirate V/O) - Tokens can be earned through combat missions, by purchasing Random Bundles for Doubloons, and by spending In-game resources. - One of the two top items can be earned without the expenditure of doubloons - however, it will still require the expenditure of in-game resources including Credits, FXP, Coal, Community Tokens, and Steel. - To acquire both the Matilda Kelly 19-point Commander AND the T10 Brisbane during this event, players will have to spend doubloons. Brisbane will be available in the future for Coal Matilda Kelly will likely be be available later for Coal as well (not 100% sure yet)
I've been playing Brisbane exclusively a lot recently and honestly, it's subpar. I feel that you don't have any "power". Low DPM, bad shells. Even if you radar a DD, they could easily escape and you can't really do much damage to them. This ship is extremely reliant on your teammates so if you play in random, I find it really hard to perform. I could support my team and get early DD kills, but that's it. Enemies run away, you get to do no damage. You can only get 100k dmg if you manage to land some torps fom your enemies pushing. But if they don't, again you get no damage and overall just bad exp gain.
Doesn't seem all that impressive frankly... radar range is nice but a slight buff to that is not enough to make a premium ship worth buying... I laughed a little at the decision to restrict it in KOTS, it is like WG are really struggling to generate interest in it so are trying to make it seem OP via the ban. Really struggling to buy the hype.
When you have AP shell like minautor you just devastate anything and you are scary to others like none... it ain't gonna get better for them over the course. With standard He and AP your just a standard cruiser. He is overrated.😅
Brisbane is a similar like Minotaur but it comes without smoke. I'm not getting interesting of this ship in the Armory right now or until to get this ship in the future
man that heal usage burned my eyes, so inefficient and useless usage of 2 heals. As a minotaur mino I cringed really hard. The brisbane just seems to be a jinan and mino combination.
