Adding a new currency to craft the new nerfed version of legendary elixir instead of just nerfing legendary elixir to make our saved up elixirs useless is really nasty by SGS.
They absolutely need to do something excessively with elixiers. Deleting purple, putting set bonus to 30/35, pity system, one selectable slot... SOMETHING at least. Imagine being a new player and then being told to "do this slot machine-like minigame for about 10-20 hours per character so you wont be gatekept and you can progress to the endgame" Really would like to know some statistics about how many players have left the game just because of elixier systme.
@@hubachecka I've been doing Ivory Tower Hard for 5 weeks now and I still have 0 level set because I haven't seen the head effect that I need even once. So every week I spend at least 5k gold to just see the effects of elixirs and I get nothing. Yet people want a 40 set elixir in Echidna.

The amount of current players that run 18 raids a week complaining that an easy learning raid gives less gold is crazy. If you're talking about "issues managing my 6 man roster with this little gold income" clearly the solo raids aren't for you. New players that are afraid to raid or get gatekept by other players were getting NO GOLD. They're not even competing with us so they don't have to worry about keeping up for fomo. If you want 100 percent gold to manage your 6 1620s you're prepping for T4 then do normal raids. If you're feeling lazy and weren't gunna raid anyways or are new do solo raids.
Why won't anyone think of Smilegates profits, they only made $1bn last year. Don't give that bit of gold during solo raids or the new Gold River buying his second Ferrarri.

Even though the effects on T4 accessories are not weighted, which is a good thing, unlike bracelets they cost gold to roll. I'm not sure how I should feel about it. I know you just buy the accessories but I'd assume those would be expensive, especially those with high quality.
I absolutely hate the accessories. I hate having to spend gold to see if its junk. It's not even close to as good as the current system or bracelets.. because you didn't have to spend gold for potential junk(unless you're buying bracers from people)
It can literally work the same way for you then because spoiler alter others can cut them and list them. You can then just buy what you need on the ah.

Not even close, because people would have had to spend gold on them, plus get good rng.. there will be way less accessories on the market and they'll be stupid expensive(in the millions). Just imagine what a bracelet with good rolls would be now if you could sell it(and those don't even cost gold to roll)
@@chriso6042 not even close. Did you see the rates? Also good accessories used to be 500k+ before everyone got what they needed. You also won’t need 3 perfect line accessories to clear content just like you don’t need 5 line perfect bracelets now. Tell me how many self found accessories with 90+ quality have you found before? Because I have maybe got 1 useable once every few weeks that sold for more than 10k. Keep crying. If they released acc like they are now in t4 with brand new ones you would then be crying that it costs 2 mil to get ur 5x3+1 on t4.
Lol theyre cool but not amazing. Why only provide 50% of NORMAL gold? Very hard for those who are new or not even 1600. Sad that solo raids is only meant to lead to the gatekeeping group content. Also idk y they have the llvl threshold. What if i dont have time and just wanna do a quick vykas or valtan for quick cheap gold? Additionally, more rng gold sinks, no elixir changes, ark passive and 1 time chaos are only in t4 really, and etc. Cool patch but overall loss imo
There is no good reason for solo raids to give less gold, if they were worried about rice farmers going ham on 10 accounts they could simply make the gold bound so that it never impacts the market. No one is going to be soloing their raids because it won't be generating enough gold to sustain your main, let alone an entire roster, then they'll just say "hey look guys, we tried but seems like people want to play group content in LoA and not solo!" as if they hadn't designed it to fail The transition to the ark passive system is incredibly awkward, it makes no sense for you to lose power going into the new system, same with the T3 lv10 gem transfer, the whole thing is so stupid I wanted to be optimistic but 90% of these decisions make no sense
yeah I agree, that gold is so absurdly low it does not make even sense from respect to own time, they are on many raids halving already previously decreased gold. I think we still have to understand if there are not resources which would compensate, but even starting players need gold for pretty much anything ingame, that they have cheaper (or silver) honing is not protecting them from other vertical systems. Solo raids should serve to players who have low gear roster to invest it into other characters to progress and if you will do raid for 2k gold, it wont really make it... Lets be honest, even full gold on older raids is not something amazing for time spent there. You can pretty much spent gold from all week raids in few minutes of failures on any vertical system.
@@danielf6473 But solos were meant mostly for new/returning players and they dont to anything for them. All the newbies gona quit 2 weeks in due to no progression, They will learn all the mechs in solos and will be gatekept into oblivion due to their 2 digit roster, no los30, lvl7 event gems. They should have went with full amount bound gold or some tokens that let you hone with mats only. West is already on life support and they screwed up last chance of retaining new/returning players
Totally agree, this game is over. Seems like the half of the new systems are not even finished yet hence why u cant even unlock most of it on day 1. You have to keep grinding the old stuff, theres nothing new basically. Same old - same old. They just cut up ur engravings to 3 pieces and u have to earn it back again aaand you get some "new" extras.. like stacking 1% dmg.. yeah thanks bro. big help. very new, fascinating design decision. They still dont play many of the classes and have no clue wtf to do with them and it shows. Daily-weekly una still exist, for whatever reason. Cubes still exist for whatever reason. Just to waste more of your time. Everythings the same. Calling this a new season is a disgrace :D Enjoy buying off good rolled accessories with a dead auction house, oh and still no API for us after 3 years. great job AGS. I could go on and on but will stop here.
They didn't do anything with the elixir, how are you going to tell me that they put another elixir in hard mode when we can't do hard mode since we don't have 40 elixir wtf these people have serious problems
Lost Ark is such a beautiful mmo, probably the best for me, it has a few flaws compare to others. Its not designed to lose but to win as far as the difficulty. The solo mode is the addition i was looking forward and i am so happy that i will practice every mechanic and still get the rewards (i dont care about sidereal to be honest) but for mounts, skins etc so NO MORE BUSSES!!!! and i will be able to farm gold without selling gems and orecha fusion materials!! Is it true that they will give a 1600 pass? My main is 1610 Paladin and i would love to delete my bard to make a Soul Eater with the pass!
They haven't confirmed for sure but they did say a Pass akin to "Path of the Souleater" which was 1600 (with little support past it). They didn't mention an elgacia pass but usually they come with them so we'll have to wait and see. So I'd assume 1600 if not higher, just make sure you delete your bard a few days before so you can create a SE the day of next week if you wanna play!
@@ZTooRealGamingZ oh i thought to delete the bard 20 hrs before to have a few time to cancel the delete in case they dont give a pass. I saw they they will give the 1600 pass in korea according to the los video they did a few weeks ago and thats why i thought of the SE. @@seraphpaladin You're right you could totally save to be safe! I would be very veeery surprised if they didn't give Elgacia pass for this one. So I don't think you'd be missing out but they could do whatever of course lol. Yeah I've been stacking rested on another character as well. You could definitely play it safe tho! Whatever you feel.

50% is so unfair imo because its not our fault to have bots, its devs fault in the beginning. The rewards should be around %75 of the total.No more no less.
@@Maple7654 "more mats" from the low amount raids gives doesnt mean much. I would say how many taps to the gear does the solo raid reward? Imagine running 3 solo raids to tap your armor once or twice.
solo raids should just give max gold. no-one want to have to sit through PF for 18 raids per week just to progress at a reasonable pace. plus these raids are 50% of normal mode gold not hard so its even worst.
It s an mmo game....solo raids giving 100% gold would insta kill all lobbies and the game after a while. Like isnt this obvious? Does someone really need to point it out?
@@ilias-4252 no other mmo makes you pf 18 raids a week.. they can keep the current raid out of solo raids to force static or grouping 2 character at the current raid would still be 6 times a week you sitting in pf grouping with people which is more in line with what other mmos expect from you per week.
@@ilias-4252all lobbies are already dead. Game is quite literally unplayable unless you've been grinding non-stop since the game released. People gatekeep with extremely unreasonable standards. As an experienced player on a new account it takes me 2+ hours to get into/gather a party. Solo raids were meant to remove this problem at the price of reduced FUN, not reduced rewards.
@@ilias-4252 It's a MMO, therefore people are gonna play together regardless. Forcing them to party up for max gold isn't an excuse for bad game design.
@MisoxShiru Bro enough with the copium...the solo raids update is TERRIBLE for new players, I will go even as far as neglecting the part untill 1580 and will talk only about 1580+... 1) On average it takes 654k gold to go from 1580->1620 JUST for the tapping costs (no mats included no orehas) , why don't you try and calculate how many MONTHS of running a solo raid that gives HALF as much as normal raid that would take??? 2) the 1620 cutoff creates a clear distinction between new players and existing players, segregation galore! , no more need to gatekeep them because now you wont even see them! huzzah! 3) lets assume by some miracle you stuck around and got to 1620 and now you are 1640 with no cards, no trans, no 40 elixir - welcome to T4 gatekeeping hell (good luck finding a group for a daily guardian raid).
having low gold for solo raid eventually reduce solo mode because bussing would be more viable than solo since busses for early raids are samee you get half of gold so why wasting time in solo if you can bus? this is the issue with game is. It should be atleast 80% gold for solo 60% is not even worth to go solo at all.
