@@haileyhughes Adored Jar of Hearts, The Silent Patient, Pretty Girls, Gone Girl (of course), Home Before Dark, Blood Sugar and so many more, but The Butcher, Survive the Night, The Last Mrs. Parrish and Invisible Girl were my least favourite reads of the year.

You inspired me to keep trying with Lisa Jewell, and while I love the quality of her prose, the plots leave me wanting. The Night She Disappeared = 🤷. She may be to me what Mary Kubica is to you! Enjoyed Behind Closed Doors’ ending, but the villain’s desire really gave me the ick-and that’s coming from someone unfazed by Pretty Girls.

My all time favorite type of video! I literally paused you every time you ranked an “all time favorite” or a “great read” and added it to my kindle. Many of them are Kindle Unlimited options so they were “free”! I’ve got to quit my job now so I can read them all!

Similar taste in books except with ranking the snowman and girl with the dragon tattoo so low. Gwdt is all time favourite and snowman is in my great category. Currently reading sometimes I lie and loving it thanks so much for recommendation in one of your other videos

I agree with most of what you were saying except: Woman in Cabin 10 I would put in "Burn it", OBS! SPOILER: the twist and solution to that book says Swedish ppl don't understand English. Well I'm Swedish and we start studying English here from the time we are around 8-9 years old here and continues all the way up until 18. For ALL Swedish ppl. 2: The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo - watch the Swedish movie and you will "get it". 3: Pretty Baby - will put higher since I rated it 4 stars and still remember the entire book. But overall I got sooo many book recs from this video so thank you! Got a longer TBR now lol :D Will go subscribe now. Bye!

I have a pretty similar taste in books to you and have found tons of great thriller and horror recs from your videos 😁 Pls don't hate me though but I didn't really like The Silent Patient. I found the main character's behaviour to be so...icky. His behaviour as a therapist was so wildly inappropriate and unethical, as a mental health worker it made me feel uncomfortable. It was well written though! I want to give the author another try but idk if I'd like The Maidens either 😂
