I am glad you fixed the horrid crime of not including the Stanley Parable in the original tier list. Maybe god will be willing to forgive you for that sin.
Again, can we appreciate the importance of doors? They are also very powerful, as they can make us forget why we went into a room. Bow down to doors, people.
for some reason this is just very fascinating to me. sure pongon has his silly lil meme series but then here we are watching him rate games over doors... once more. good sir your content doesn't fail to be entertaining. bravo :)
Yume Nikki reminded me of Omori for some reason. Omori has some doors here and there, but the most important door is a white door at the start of each night, which leads to your world of imagination (aka dream) to escape the cruel reality. You should add Omori to your next tierlist, I'd put it in the "not enough doors" tier
I don't know how much of OMORI you have played till now, so to not give away spoilers, i am extending the reply Black Space and Black Space 2 is actually literally a homage to Yume Nikki, so that's cool
For those confused a door is a wooden or metal object found in homes or buildings as an entry to the building itself or to another room there are a few types of doors such as spinny doors attic doors doggy doors and a few others.
I personally love Skyrim for every door being different. Big wooden doors for jarl's halls. Small wooden doors for NPC houses. Huge stone doors for dungeons. Primitive wooden gate doo- wait we don't talk about those.
@@PolygonDonut y-yeah, I knew that! Cuz, you know, I definitely watched the whole thing? He he… Wait why am I in an extremely oversized basement. WAIT WHY DID I HEAR THE DOOR LOCK. Edit: I found the door and it’s actually pretty cool. I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but I do like the twenty-four locks installed. My only complaint is the difficulty of progressing on in the game after it locks. 10/10 door, 4/10 basement (I can’t escape it)
doors are a crucial part of society. nobody knows how elite they are in society until they use them. teirlisting doors is the best thing you can do. open the door to get outside, close the door to not get robbed. doors are also great self defence. swing it at they’re jaw to break it. overall, doors are amazing and will always be the most powerful thing in society. nobody will ever take down the door empire.
As I said in the previous door video, I recommend The Binding of Isaac. Sometimes the doors themselfes don't change, but the doorframes are different. We have: simple door, crown door, coin door, boss door, challenge door, red door, double locked door, book door, secret room door, dice door, devil door, angel door, chest door, blocked door, portals like in Portal, flesh door, red door, big blue flesh door, void door, void secret room door, p**** door, rotten p**** door, moon door, door that eats your health and Big Golden Locked Boss Door.
Overview Mega Gallade is a decent wallbreaker thanks to its high Attack stat paired with its strong STAB moves and useful coverage moves in Knock Off and Ice Punch. Having access to Swords Dance allows Mega Gallade to boost its Attack stat to even higher levels, which can make it difficult for defensive teams to take on. Knock Off is particularly useful for pressuring bulky Psychic-types that other Fighting-types such as Mega Medicham tend to struggle with. Mega Gallade's good Speed tier allows it to outspeed foes such as Kartana, Garchomp, Mega Medicham, and Tapu Lele, giving it an edge against some offensive teams. Its decent bulk, notably in Special Defense, gives it setup opportunities against a majority of defensive Pokemon. It also allows Mega Gallade to take a hit from certain offensive threats in a pinch. Unfortunately, it faces competition from other Fighting-types like Mega Medicham, which doesn't rely on setup in order to beat bulkier teams, and Mega Heracross, which has an easier time against stall teams as well as a more useful defensive typing. Despite the fact that its bulk isn't terrible, Mega Gallade's poor defensive typing means it's still prone to being revenge killed by a bunch of common faster Pokemon such as Tornadus-T as well as most Choice Scarf users; this is especially true after a Defense drop from Close Combat. Moves Swords Dance boosts Mega Gallade's already high Attack stat, helping it overwhelm bulkier teams and break through defensive Pokemon such as Clefable, Mega Latias, and Zapdos. Zen Headbutt is used to beat Pokemon that resist Close Combat like Toxapex, Clefable, and Tapu Fini; it's also the best option against Flying-types such as Tornadus-T and Gliscor if Ice Punch isn't used. Knock Off allows Mega Gallade to beat bulky Psychic-types like Reuniclus, Slowbro, and Mew that would otherwise wall it. Crippling foes by removing their items such as Clefable's Leftovers and Landorus-T's Choice Scarf is also useful in general. Ice Punch targets Flying-types such as Landorus-T, Tornadus-T, and Gliscor; it also OHKOes offensive Garchomp without a boost and does more to Mega Latias and Mega Latios than Knock Off. Set Details Justified is used as Gallade's pre-Mega ability, as it can punish Knock Off from weaker foes such as Toxapex and Tangrowth. Usage Tips Mega Gallade is best used early- to mid-game to break through defensive cores; however, thanks to its solid Speed tier, it can also be used to clean late-game. Be careful when switching it in, as taking too much damage early on can limit its ability to wallbreak. Status conditions, especially paralysis and burn, also limit Mega Gallade's wallbreaking ability, so avoid directly switching it into foes like Rotom-W, Heatran, and Toxapex. It'll also struggle to use Swords Dance safely if it's continuously being worn down. For these reasons, Mega Gallade should be brought in through aggressive switches or VoltTurn support from teammates. Use Swords Dance against weaker defensive Pokemon or on forced switches. It's best to set up if a boost is needed to threaten a defensive switch-in such as Reuniclus or Clefable. If an offensive pivot such as Tornadus-T or Choice Scarf Landorus-T is predicted, hitting them hard with the appropriate move or removing their item with Knock Off is recommended. Knock Off can be spammed early-game against most teams to chip down certain checks and counters, especially since most Pokemon holding a Mega Stone or Z-Crystal won't want to switch in. Mega Gallade's decent Special Defense means it can take attacks like Moonblast from Clefable and Tapu Fini or multiple Ice Beams from Mega Latias and set up against them, trading its health to weaken them for a teammate. Similarly, it can take a hit from offensive foes such as Greninja and Mega Alakazam, sacrificing most of its health to remove or weaken them. However, this should only be done if Mega Gallade's health is no longer needed. Team Options Mega Gallade fits best on bulky offense teams with VoltTurn support from Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Assault Vest Magearna, Landorus-T, and Choice Scarf Jirachi. The former two can also switch into Tornadus-T. Other wallbreakers like Swords Dance Garchomp and Landorus-T as well as Choice Band Kartana can weaken physically defensive walls, giving Mega Gallade an easier time cleaning up. The former two also can set up Stealth Rock and pressure common Defog users. Tapu Lele is a particularly useful partner that can assist in wallbreaking while also providing Psychic Terrain to boost Mega Gallade's Zen Headbutt and block priority moves such as Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile and Fake Out from Mega Medicham. Mega Gallade is forced out by Tornadus-T and Mega Alakazam when at low health, so switch-ins to them are necessary. Electric-types such as Rotom-W and Zapdos can switch into Tornadus-T and generate momentum with Volt Switch. Steel-types like Magearna and Celesteela can switch into Mega Alakazam and also take on Fairy-types for Mega Gallade. If not using Knock Off, Mega Gallade struggles to break through bulky Psychic-types. In this case, Pursuit trappers such as Tyranitar and Weavile are useful partners. They can also use Pursuit to weaken Tornadus-T. Other Options Drain Punch and Psycho Cut might seem like reasonable options due to their reliability as well as the former move keeping Mega Gallade healthier, but the severe loss in power is too costly for them to be worth using. Checks and Counters Physically Defensive Pokemon: Mega Slowbro is one of the best counters to Mega Gallade; it takes a +2 Knock Off with relative ease and can threaten to burn Mega Gallade with Scald or cripple it with Toxic or Thunder Wave. Unaware Clefable ignores Mega Gallade's boosts and can take any two attacks, but it has to be careful of switching in if entry hazards are up, especially if it lost its item due to Knock Off. Tapu Fini can live a +2 Zen Headbutt from full HP, but it lacks reliable recovery and dislikes losing its item. Faster Pokemon: Tornadus-T can switch into any attack from Mega Gallade as long as Stealth Rock isn't up and threaten it with Hurricane. Mega Alakazam and Tapu Koko outspeed and threaten Mega Gallade, although they struggle to switch in. Choice Scarf users such as Landorus-T and Kartana can revenge kill Mega Gallade; however, they can't switch into Mega Gallade's attacks, and losing their item costs them the ability to act as checks. Mega Sableye: Mega Sableye can switch into any of Mega Gallade's attacks, take a +2 Knock Off or Ice Punch, and burn it with Will-O-Wisp.
Cultist simulator has some impactful doors, though we never do actually see them so I'm not sure it qualifies... Tunic has some interesting doors too, so does Outer Wilds, especially in its DLC, and we definitely can't forget Rain World's, although not very numerous, certainly very fancy doors.
There's a game on Steam called "Don't open the doors!" It's a Zelda look-alike where you basically go through dungeons that take the shape of doors and it's actually quite fun to play.
the junkertown map of overwatch got a really cool door design that seems to have been made from scraps of metal, and with two enormous chains on each sides of it, it sure got a lot of impact ! Also, almost map got unique doors based on the environment and its pretty neat :)
If we are talking about bridges, who could forget the infamous and foreboding bridges from Crash 1? Those nightmares are marvels in both game difficulty and physics (how they do be standing tho? 🤓🤓🤪🤪🤔🤔🤔🤔)
slime rancher has a really cool door in the ancient ruins, big and important. there's also some other doors around the game! i think a hat in time had a bunch of the same door on the spaceship, each one led to a different area. house flipper obviously has alot of doors, every house has multiple doors afterall! i had commented about slime rancher on the first door tier list, so i can say that whenever i think of a cool door i think of the slime rancher door, go see it please, haha.
Just wanted to see portal 2 in the list, now its here :D My fav game, loved that giant vault door revealing that small door, pretty funny, had me die laughing
I thought I was the only one who remembered that game existed. Also, you can upgrade the doors to prevent fire from spreading and intruders will have to break down the door if they want through.
7:00 You forgot to mention that the panels that construct the chambers themselves can be doors. You know those panels Wheatley opens up and "speaks in an accent that is beyond GLaDOS' range of hearing"? that is a really cool improvised door. Not to mention the door at the very end when you escape, that one is really cool too! You missed out on some of your door game for Portal 2 and I'm kinda disappointed :(
If you're doing a tierlist about bridges, I highly recommend L4D2, specifically on the Parish campaign, very epic bridge, the culmination of the survivors entire journey
If you do end up with a bridges list, I expect to see death stranding. Not only are the bridges you can build super epic and useful, the company you work for is called bridges and even your name is bridges. So you're Bridges building Bridges bridges. It's pretty epic, although there may not be enough bridges to be honest.
I think Breath of the Wild would be a great inclusion to the door ranking series, since doors play a very significant role as they are the way to enter all 120 shrines in the game and also serve as the introduction to said game. Oh yeah I guess theres a lot of bridges too if you were to go through with a bridges ranking 😊
CoD: Zombies has doors like you would or wouldn't believe, from the classic 'help' door to doors on the Titanic or doors that need power to open, there are many doors
Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion (Spooky's House of Jumpscares) is all about walking through tons of rooms that end with a door while creepy monsters chase you. Also there are special locations with unique doors that add to the door experience.
A bagel (Yiddish: בײגל, romanized: beygl; Polish: bajgiel; also historically spelled beigel)[1] is a bread product originating in the Jewish communities of Poland. It is traditionally shaped by hand into the form of a ring from yeasted wheat dough, roughly hand-sized, that is first boiled for a short time in water and then baked. The result is a dense, chewy, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior. Bagels are often topped with seeds baked on the outer crust, with the traditional ones being poppy and sesame seeds. Some may have salt sprinkled on their surface, and there are different dough types, such as whole-grain and rye.[2][3] The earliest known mention of a boiled-then-baked ring-shaped bread can be found in a 13th-century Arabic cookbook, where they are referred to as ka'ak.[4] Bagels have been widely associated with Ashkenazi Jews since the 17th century; they were first mentioned in 1610 in Jewish community ordinances in Kraków, Poland.[5] Bagel-like bread known as obwarzanek was common earlier in Poland as seen in royal family accounts from 1394.[6] Bagels are now a popular bread product in North America and Poland, especially in cities with a large Jewish population, many with alternative ways of making them. Bagels are also sold (fresh or frozen, often in many flavors) in supermarkets. The basic roll-with-a-hole design is hundreds of years old and has other practical advantages besides providing more even cooking and baking of the dough: The hole could be used to thread string or dowels through groups of bagels, allowing easier handling and transportation and more appealing seller displays.[7][8]
I personally really liked the door leading to Funtime Freddy's room in FNAF: Sister Location, because of the poster of Funtime Freddy on it. The poster has the words "Get Ready" on it with Funtime Freddy above it which makes it feel like a threat from the bear himself.
This video is the best, but... The video starts with Ruby being near a lake with Woody. When Ruby looks the other way, Woody gets taken into the ocean. Ruby then talks to Fries, speculating that Rusty Coin and Anchor are involved. Fries then claims that hes can read lips, and sees Rusty Coin saying hats several times. Ruby tries and gets the same result. Meanwhile, Rusty Coin fulfilled Anchor's agreement that he can successfully say "hats" 400 times, and Anchor says it was fun for the both of them. Anchor then walks over to let them in to what they were discussing, much to the excitement of Ruby and Fries. Rusty Coin tells them that the nearby lake is home to an elusive fish monster, as Anchor likes to name her "Chompy". Rusty Coin continues, saying that Chompy was last seen back in 2013, as some rumor her as an urban legend and nowhere in these parts. He then states that they should join them in searching. They all get on the lake and Rusty Coin says that he's been searching for 5 years. Anchor corrects him, saying they've been searching for 5 years. Rusty Coin shushes him. Rusty Coin says that he'll be searching with them forever, before sailing off with an evil laugh. Fries then says they should get their long journey started. Ruby puts on a fake beard and says, "It's been so long!" Fries tells Ruby that it's been 10 seconds since they started. Fries gets a fishing rod and gets Chompy on his first try. Ruby takes off the fake beard and celebrates. Chompy moans. Ruby and Fries go to ask Rusty Coin and Anchor what they will do if they find Chompy. They say that the plan is to kill and eat her. Ruby goes back and tries to open Chompy's mouth with Rusty Coin and Anchor bickering in the background. They try to think of a diversion. Fries's idea is to dress up as Chompy and swim around while Ruby is with the real Chompy. Ruby insists that fries digs a hole to the ocean, following Chompy around the world to save Woody. Fries denies the idea and tries to ask Chompy for one. She thinks of something, lets out a moan, and doesn't reveal anything. Ruby realizes that Chompy's mouth is open and asks Fries to distract Rusty Coin and Anchor. Meanwhile, Rusty and Anchor are arguing. Fries arrives and compliments Rusty Coin, but not Anchor. They start arguing even more and eventually start slapping each other. Ruby tries to pull Woody out, but says to Fries that there are more people that Chompy ate. Suddenly, Anchor throws Rusty Coin at Chompy, causing all the objects fly out of Chompy's mouth. They are Lollipop, Loser, Gelatin, Leafy, and Woody. Ruby also gets thrown with them. They talk for a minute and go off saying hats over and over again. The video ends with Chompy laughing while looking at a pile of junk labeled "CHOMPY'S PLAN FOR WORLD DOMINATION".
And speaking of a game with lots of important doors: Super Paper Mario. Highlights include eight main doors for the eight different words. There's even a section where you meet Doorguy the First, Doorguy The Second and Doorguy the Third.
Hollow knight has very few doors. Mainly breakable rocks, giant slabs of rock with chains on them, door frames with light inside or that one corpse that leads to the white palace. Also, you do some insane parkour, place the city crest in the statue of Hegemol, watch the door open, and then it closes right behind you.
The chapter start doors in Kid Icarus: Uprising don't get enough credit imo. They somehow manage to be super epic and thematic to the game even though you never actually see the doors themselves. And there'll even be different animations in certain chapters to keep things fresh (including one where the door is destroyed, oh no!) Also I'll never forget the initial trailer where we saw Pit jumping from the door for the first time. Still gives me goosebumps.
spelunky 2 is a game i have been recently obsessed with and has an exit door at each level. It also features backlayer doors, and my favorite is the door to the city of gold
The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. On your mark, get ready, start.
Fact: in baldi's basics also has doors shout as: blue 99 door, swinging yellow doors, baldi's office door, supplies door (that where is gotta sweep here) and principal detention door
We need polygon donut to make a Video about Doors on Roblox Because it’s literally a horror game where u go through different doors, wandering if any dangers could be lurking Plus there’s closet doors to hide in and drawers to loot
Honkai Star Rail has a few pretty unique doors, and some actually connect to story progression and have puzzles associated with them, especially so in the third area of the game.
do isaac, it has a lot of door! shop door, gold door, big gold door, space door, book door, RED door, broken door, board door, wet door, oof ooh ouch door, blood door, picture door, HUMAN FLESH DOOR, floor door, wet floor door, flesh floor door, and even the tainted character select screen is all doors!

The country spans an area of 56,594 square kilometres (21,851 square miles), with a population of nearly 3.9 million.
Fun video! However, the lack of pauses throughout made the video hard to follow; I had to take 2 pause breaks. If you do something like reviewing bridges next, maybe pause in-between games? *amogus*
