Intense 'n' powerful , french critics were amazed by this movie. Not only Because of Jacques Audiard directing but Also this incredible cast whom Jake Gyllenhaal is part of. As a huge fan I really appreciate how far he was involved on his character 'n' he was close to Audiard point of view. The movie is released Today here, Can't wait to watch it 👍

Malvina Davidovа, это точно )) Видела и это, и много чего. Мне нравится в Гилленхале то, что он явно думает над ролью, и его избирательность. Умный, постоянно прогрессирующий актер. Действительно, очень "не американский". Но если сравнивать, то я бы выразилась так: Джейк - хороший актер, превративший себя в отличного; Хоакин - гений.

@@wonka3209 Да, избирательный, интилегентный ......думающий... И особенно хорошо у него получаются депрессивные роли. "Враг"..."Разрушение" " Пленницы". Мне не понравилось его роль в "Живом" А Хоакин.... Мне кажется ему ещё помогает его неординарная внешность, выбор ролей....В любом случае спасибо, посмотрю-ка парочку его фильмов. Может и поменяю мнение.

Мне тоже нравится в Пленницах именно Джейк, он такой естественный. А большинство хвалили Джекмана, который по-моему переигрывал. А еще круто сыграно в Стрингер, Левша, Враг. Так что Джилленхол в последние 5-6 лет - это очень, очень хорошо. Но Феникс - это прирожденное, неописуемое дарование. Каждая роль - открытие чего-то нового. КАЖДАЯ

There are individual american actors/comedians/filmmakers/etc. who get criticized a lot, and I always thought to myself... they were born in the wrong place, they should have been french/german/swedish/etc. The US is very diverse and generally open to a lot of different types of characters, but especially when you're a non-conformist woman (e.g. Lena Dunham), or when you're very critical of class/elitism in a way that it becomes a criticism of the system of capitalism, I always feel like americans get super offended at that, like it's the ultimate no go... I still feel like Jake is a classic american actor - in the best sense possible!!! The same way I find Kristen Stewart to be classically american - again, in the best way possible. But he has that american sweetheart vibe and she has that freebird-grunge-vibe, that I only know from americans.

They’ve barely started filming and I don’t think they’ve even reached his parts yet either...so I doubt any questions about FFH will come up until next year or the end of this year at minimum.

Chuchoteri Oh cool I didn’t know that. I knew they were in Venice and now are in NYC. But I was meaning as of when this interview happened which was weeks ago now - they really hadn’t filmed his parts lol. Except when they were in London (bcuz he was spotted) I think he was filmed lol.
