I get my acetone from Walmart in the fingernail polish section. They have tall round plastic 16 oz bottles for $2.50. Its Onyx professional brand. It works out great for me and definitely cheaper than the quarts in paint section just have to get 2 bottles at a time or more lol. Its 100% acetone.

Buy five gallon pails. You're going to use it anyway. Your $2.50 bottles are about $20 a gallon. Not horrible, not great either. Five gallons of Sunnyside is about $80... frequently less than that. Also ensures that it is 100% acetone.

@@westweld Luckily i already have my own set of tools and machines so i can make a few parts at home, unfortunately running your own Business especially in metalworking in Germany is with a lot of Paperwork and i would need a masters degree wich takes 3 years and alot of money, my best bet would probably be to start a company what i need to do anyways for myself. Cause currently im restoring an old car and small parts are impossible to find so i was thinking of making after market oem or better quality parts and that i could really do from home because my shop is not big maybe 40m² and i cant just build a bigger shop to the property due to licensing and such

I did this stuff for 40+ years but retired a couple years ago. I now do all my fabrication vicariously through you! Ha! This is exceptional work, and watching your work processes and attention to detail is very refreshing in this “hurry up and finish” world we live in! Congrats! Something that surprised me was the corners. I’ve had guard railing jobs failed by building inspectors (I’m in NC) because the top rail was not continuous in the 90 degree corners like yours! Had to go back in and connect it all! B I’s are a pain in the ass on the east coast! They said after the fact that if a certified engineer drew up prints showing it non continuous, then it would be fine!!

At least in my part of the world, working in one county versus another can be a world of difference in Building Inspection people!
