cant believe I just watched someone build a tiny intercooler for 20 minutes... but the process, the care, and WELDS! tip of the hat to you sir, I've never welded in my life and this makes me want to do it.
99% of the time he is welding not propping on anything and is steady as a rock. That is very difficult to keep it straight as demonstrated here. Simply amazing.
I have a hard time freehand welding, I mig weld which I’m sure is even easier to freehand compared to tig. I build 53’ enclosed trailers like nascar stuff and truck pull stuff, shit for Porsche and Michelin, cooper tires, KTM, and other stuff, right now building pods for Three Olives, built stuff for Chick-fil-A! I’ve always wanted to learn to tig tho, we do some tig like aluminum handrails and fuel tanks, some stuff on the lift gates are aluminum to. Just don’t have the time to learn at work or even after work since we only have 1 morning shift
@@reaction9449 Look for some local use equipment or HTTP welder are not so expensive and good quality i bought one chinese tig for around 100$. Work on 120/240 i try the 120 at around 100 amp the breaker trip, i want to test it on 240 before i leave my current job. I try welding steel 3/16 thick at 100 amps on 120 and it wasn't enough maybe i should have try aluminum can.
Came here randomly and although this was an amazing piece of work, i was absolutely captivated by the stubby scissors. FFS how did I make it through so many decades of life without realizing I really have no need for 80% of a scissors length. I am about to get medieval on about a half dozen scissors in my house.
this guys basic demonstration on how to use templates is amazing.... I used to work in a fabrating shop and would occasionally tig weld. it was one of the greatest learning experiences of my life.... thanks again for the good memories and flashbacks... TOP notch work !!!!!
Proud subscriber to page and website for a few yrs now. It's so much easier to learn when someone isn't talking and explaining every single little detail that is not necessary. My wife laughs about that. Keep up the awesome work.
Im in school right now for welding. I've tried welding aluminum and dear God it's freaking difficult. I either blow through or can't get the bead started. Your welds are so freaking impressive and I'm working towards being on your level. Good job man
I really like watching your fabrication and welding techniques, I also was, at one time well versed in TIG welding of Aluminum, I learned all that I could, while now I am an old timer, the old timers of my time, knew it only as Heliarc welding, they really knew their stuff and helped me to become ardent professional. Keep those videos coming, I think they help newcomers in learning the trade. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful work this was my life at a job i had , tig welding Prototype aluminum heat exchanger's together , Weld, Machine and fabricate , in the auto industrie .awesome job with that torch and filler rod.
Glad to see I'm not the only one with problems doffing the electrode on those sheetmetal inside corner joints. I don't know what it is but outsides are so much easier! Thanks for the videos.
Those little tricks are awesome like using filler rod to make a bend template... I’m stealing that!!! You’re gonna go broke stacking all those dimes. Thanks for the videos!
I also have a bad case of mechanical OCD. it has its ups and downs. But generally the end result is pretty cool. Thanks for the vids. You’re a true pro.
This video is some straight Welding ASMR! Haahah! This was so cool to watch, I'm actually gonna start trade school in January for welding, and watching videos like this one gets me excited!!!
Him and many others. A machine can't do what a human can. Never will able to either. Well, if people keep going I the direction their going in, not only will the people not be capable of anything but they won't be capable of building machines either so there wouldn't be a competition to start.
Good night I always watch your videos and I like it a lot more I would like to know what type of aluminum you use and the type of rod you put in the solder thank you very much if you can send me an email saying thank you for my mail and Fernando_trigolo@outlook.com
Just curious why you dont build intercoolers anymore? Clearly you are an expert! Ide pay to have you make one for me vs China garbage any day! P.S. Thanks for the videos!
