That arowana is gonna have to be moved to a bigger tank or a similar one by itself they get pretty big, also those stingrays will get a whole lot bigger too and will need to be moved as well
invertMASA Fair enough, but having a naked tank has more pros than a decorated one, less space for them to swim in, already the tank is pretty crowded, adding in some substrate wouldn't hurt, though it would have like some sand, it may not be visually stunning, but he's doing a good job of keeping the fish.
Agreed, The fish are beautiful. I would much rather have less fish and some driftwood and rocks or a fully planted tank. It all depends on the owner I guess.
the fish it self shows off the bare bottom tank and bare bottom tanks are alot easier to take care off nice tigers there all stable and 3 bars love them
I do NOT like these naked tanks! The fish should have an inviroment of wood rocks sand and maybe plants! These fish cant have any natural behavior! This is just captivity! I love to watch my fish do they´re natural things, otherwise whats the point??
Where did you get that idea??? You know they actually lives out in the real world and you know there is rocks and wood there right.. the research is for you to do! And frankly these type of fish (motoro, arowana) shouldn´t be keep in aquariums in the first place! They cant do what they are supposed to do in there natural habitat!
aaaheim thay are more skittish in aquariums and in asia it is good luck and fortune to have an arowana. in the wild they are in open areas with no dangers on the top of the water
the wild is a large area of water and the fish tank is small if u put a wood or rock there the area getting smaller. and that arowana is a agressive and one of the expensive freshwater fish. do you read a little information about keeping arowana? didnt you curious why mostly of arowana keepers , thier tank has no deco,? do you know that reason why?
no there are no decorations because those kinds of fish cant survive with them.. rocks,wood,sand are all dangerous and harmful for arowanas and stingrays and the bass will just destroy the decorations.
If these are Borneo 3 bar tiger fish then yes native to Indonesia but if these are Mekong tiger then no. There are many type of tiger fish. Some look very similar but are not the same. The price are quite cheap for baby size except for the true Siamese tiger from Thailand.
1k USD is cheap for a 3" Siamese tiger but I doubt your was. Hope you didn't pay 1k for a 3 Bar Indonesian tiger fish. 3 thick bar from indo at 3" only about $300 here.
