Such a beautiful song. I was at the Acapela the night David died and it fell to my friend Pete to tell me that news. Later in the gig he played a very moving version of ‘Victorian Brickwork’. This is a special song.
Earlier this year I found myself in Winchester. I climbed St. Giles Hill and played the song of the same title, thinking of the ordinary man with the extraordinary voice. Such a huge talent we've lost. We have to keep playing his music.
Ohhh man, you just make a wonderful tribute....I still listening BBT songs with David voice and really he still lives in our very daily lives....long live Pete Jones, you're a living Star among us and keep the prog flame with Magenta, Tiger Moth Tales and Cyan too 👏👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘🤘
A song with big big heart. RIP David. "No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away, until the clock wound up winds down, until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone's life is only the core of their actual existence." --Terry Pratchett
