I composed music for this scene from the incredible movie Life of Pi. The original scene didn't have any music, so I chose to compose a score for it.

According to the second story - which was what actually happened - Orange Juice was his mother. Truly heartbreaking how the animal story was what Pi imagined what happened to cope with the trauma.

Tigers aim for the neck quicker than what a lion can, even if they just look at the prey for a second, bearing in mind lions wait until the prey loses breath, where a tiger kills their prey on the spot when they can get the chance without hesitation (sorry if I'm being technical here)

Yeah its mostly because it was one hyena, because the second someone try's to kill one of them then two more will attack you to free the one you are trying to kill.
