I had no problem with the transfers but I definitely recommend a squeegee of some kind for the flag. They look amazing when all applied! This is probably my favorite thing in my collection! Thank you, Ace for making this happen!
Nice work! This is HOW it's done. I have been in the sign business for over 3 decades. I have also been suppling vinyl repro decals for toy collectors for about 25 years. This is EXACTLY how I tell my customers to do it. Water slides are fine. But vinyl decals are better.
@MRaadesign any chance you could reproduce these? I got mine in, but unfortunately the lettering was a bit off and it's driving my ocd nuts. Was going to ask for replacement stickers, but saw they didn't have anymore =/
@@GodParticleZero please email us for these replacements. A charge maybe applicable based on the actuality of the purpose of the replacement stickers/transfers. Thank you
I have already a nervous breakdown watching this, let alone applying the stickers myself! So happy this is just an OPTION. Please never change that!! 😀👍
Great tutorial Ace, but good thing I went with the application by the factory instead because I definitely would have fucked it up. LOL Thank you Ace for making this vehicle. It came out AWESOME.
Nice demonstration on all of the applications. Transfers can be a little tricky, but if you take your time and get good pressure on all the areas, you're likely to get them to work well enough. The situation with the flags on the back might seem scary to some, but my advice for anyone applying transfers is to GO SLOWLY. Make sure you have sufficiently pressed every area down well. Do that a few times before trying to remove the film. It will prove very helpful to succeeding.
At least you got something. I’ve been waiting for over a year and still nothing. No tracking either. Keep getting told it’s coming. Still not sure if I got scammed or not.
great video bro I m full of admiration for your courage to open a market here with new bold ideas I m a fan of cultures, [star trek] and history, and you make me understand how China was a great merchant culture for thousands of years your balance mentality, as you offer for both worlds, superficial and deep commercial, and personal, I really value your presence here my bro. the stickers are a true labour of love, you have to love this car a lot... I had stickers from Hasbro for years, and it was much easier but... your system allows easier correction and applying I admit the ripping of the sticker is a bit scary, it looks a bit weak, too thin? still worth the car, just, this video is a must. I have to say, I like orange more than black, and I loved black, and yeah, I love the Dukes too is this $100 US? man, it s so tempting. one sure thing I get from Ramen is the van, but with the arch flares - sport, it looks fab! my 1 rst online vehicle purchase ever, congrats! I just got my stinger yesterday, from g - stop, oh man... I was right, I love vehicles on my dios! please consider doing 2 bikes bro! 1 ninja type, and one custom, bland, no brand but one day, when Ramen is King, you could do high end bikes, Harleys - Hondas sell them in kits, in parts we can paint, sell accessory kits to customise. so now you know.... God bless America and world peace! good show bro
I got my Tiger last week, came in great shape! Thanks Ace. I’m keeping it straight muscle car, w/out the stickers. Only two slight criticisms. Driver side door won’t shut flush front or back. Any ideas? Less so - it would be nice if the Dixie horn effect was separate from the lights and engine. I’m just not a fan of that part going off though it is cool, just not repeating every time. It’s great though! Happy it came in!
@@citadelli please do email customer service if you are having unsatisfactory issues with your model’s door not closing properly, we will do our best to assist.
I chose to have them applied at the factory. I have zero confidence I could get that flag centered properly. I was wondering, however, if you were going to offer for us to purchase new transfers if any customizers wanted to try and correct the General Lee lettering. I doubt I would personally, but I was still curious about it. I just got my tracking info for mine and cannot wait for it. Thanks Ace.
@@muzikblitz we posted on Facebook to ask everyone to email us if they want the stickers applied or not as a reminder to the note at the time of the order indicating in the description that you can let us know if you want the stickers applied or not. We can’t post any screen shot image here on RU-vid. But we have a screenshot of the item description which read : “Special sticker pack available upon request. Please indicate at your cart page in the "Order special instruction" box”
@@RAMENTOY I don't have Facebook. And I did opt for the sticker pack, which I received. I did not see an option to have them pre-applied. But it's fine. I love the car, I'm just nervous to apply the large sticker. Is the flag sticker adhesive-backed? I've never heard of applying soapy water prior to adhesive-backed stickers. It doesn't seem like it would stick.
What about an opportunity to buy more transfers? I would love to get my hands on a few more sheets. I was able to apply my flag and transfers acceptably, but would really love another shot at it. I have seen one other person ask this question in the comments as well. So what about it Ace? Will you have the transfers for sale on your website?
@@albertnewman3186 we are not selling these transfers and we are also completely out of them. That is why from my video, the transfer piece I was using is one of the last piece which had everything on.
@@Rowebot15 thank you very much Perhaps you want to check this video Thanks ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qdeZJVEFNj8.htmlsi=JliLBrX3IvWolwhb
did the ramen racer fund enough for agent skully? really really hope so, i couldnt make it for the initial selling but would absolutely put money towards another run especially if it helped development for agent skully
@@RAMENTOY bummer to hear it didn't hit the mark but thrilled to hear you guys are going ahead with it anyway, Made my day a lot better hearing that. Any rough ETA on a look at the physical prototype?
A piece that big is also not easy for anyone to apply. And water decals are even more easy to crease and when dry, without top coat, you can scratch it off accidentally.
