Much of Australia's wildlife lead a quiet and mostly nocturnal life in our native forests. Tiger quolls are very adept at keeping well out of sight of humans despite sometimes living in close proximity. They prefer large tracts of unbroken forest and have very large territories. The majority of the human population would not even notice if they passed into extinction like so many Australian species before them.
