Then these spindles get stuck you are fucked. I have now shoes which don’t work anymore. 😢 Sidi can you please post a video on how to fix or replace dirty spindles?
@@Bunn3s Had the same problem with $500 Tigers , after going nuts and throwing them away I decided to spray Boeing Lube spray that cleaned the inside and was able to release the cord. Not a problem in over 2 years!
@@yellowquantum4240 thanks mate, I was able to figure out how to replace the spindles. There were no manuals available online so I decided to try my luck. I got them out with a flat screwdriver. It’s purpose built for replacement and it’s working but it wasn’t clear to me initially whether I will do damage or not. So, I got them out then soaked them for half a day in WD40 and it worked. I only had one pair of shoes with me and the next day I had planned to race in Ebringen. By the time this problem occurred all bike shops were already closed on Saturday so no chance to buy another pair. Luckily after a few hours I got the spindles working and the next day became 2P in Ebringen only because I got surprised from behind. But Sidi really could do a better job explaining this… it was mental :-D
Beware of these shoes if your techo 3 spindles get stuck you are basically out of $500 shoes. For 3 weeks I have been working on fixing it . The pin to release the real is no where in the Tiger . I am beyond myself yesterday I took 40 minutes to see if I could figured it out watching videos and reading post . These stupid Sidi Marketing videos are poetic but once again they leave out in the desert. I have been a Sidi customer since the 70s never thought I would run into this problem . It is pathetic!!
... release the reel* is nowhere* in the Tiger.* / ... if I could fugure* it out / ... leave you* out in the desert. You release the reel by pressing the two button on the outside of the dial.
@@einundsiebenziger5488 Wow! I posted this a while back. The problem was dirt got inside the spindle after spraying it with Boeing Lube spray got them to release the cord and get the shoe off and on. I did go crazy , even the LBS got not help.
These videos SUCK at explaining things! I am a huge SIDI fanboy, but its so hard to find any info on the most expensive shoes in biking and you have to order 3 pair to try on to figure out the sizing to get it right because no one carries them in store. I am now open to looking at other brands of shoes. SIDI hire some bilingual folks to PROPERLY narrate your videos so the videos are not just glossy but informative!
