He is trying to be a hero in front of foreign customer. And his hawa gets out suddenly and miserably. What a joker. He is doing foolish stunt infront of tigers in tigers territory
He is not a warden but only a forest wactcher. He is violating all rules by standing on the road and taunting the tiger.More over there should be a restriction of the numbers of jeeps entering each zone.Tigers are losing fear of man and time is not far away a tiger may attack a jeep with catastrophic effects.
The tigers got tired of waiting for him to turn away so that they could attack. Most wild cats attack from behind to avoid defensive attacks that could possibly injure them.
The biggest fool at Ranthambore I've ever seen ... should have been dismissed from service just when this incidence took place ... these guys will go any distance to please the foreign tourists.
Most tourists are animal lovers. They don't appreciate this human bravado. They are there to see these magnificent animals in wild, not some stupid idiot pretending to be fearless. I've been to some east african safaris where the drivers respect their boundaries. Animals always have the right of way there, it is their space we are invading so the least we should do is to follow instructions from people who know animal behaviour.
He would have been dead if Tiger intent was not to kill. Lucky survivor. Never ever try to intimidate wild animals. They are experts in intimidation and attack.
for all those people cursing the forest ranger on foot...he is just doing his duty as they are supposed to walk on feet for patrolling and he was not trying to tease the tigers but trying to make sure that there are no jeeps on the opposite side as this might make the tigress feel cornered with cubs which could be a more dangerous situation
Ive never seen someone crossing the barrier of human stupidity this intense. How can you even think of getting down between a tiger territory with 2 tigers sitting right in front of you! How i wish this could’ve ended in multiple ways possible.
i just can't understand why open jeeps are allowed in Indian reserves and safari. wild animals can jump on jeeps easily. how stupid this is. they should arrange closed and safe car at least.
He gets the biggest boob award of the century. We need to find a "dumb camp" for this guy. He can sit there and play Pick Up Sticks for ten years as his punishment for stupidity. Then put a dunce cap on his head, make him walk through Central Park for a couple thousand years with a sign on his back that says "anyone can kick me in the arse."
Wildlife Warden has done many mistakes - 1) Taken tourists in open jeeps (I presume all jeeps in Ranathambore are open jeeps, don't know why?) 2) Stood on the ground against 2 relaxing tigers (even without a stout stick for self defence) 3) Walking in the direction of the Tiger 4) Showing hand and talking loudly. Hence the Tiger is angry as it has been intimidated for a response. I have been to some zoos and they have boards instructing us not to imitate/tease the animals. Wonder why these Forest Staff are themselves breaking their own rules ??
1) Yep this ranger was an idiot, but the locals do respect the animals because the national park supports them in ways( mostly monetary). It is actually the tourists who are reckless and don't have any respect. 2) No, the tigers are not being disturbed. A small portion of the forest is open for tourists for 7-8 hours out of 24. This is during the day. Tigers are nocturnal, so tourists aren't much of a disturbance. Oh, and the park is open for 9 months a year. 3) Safety of jeeps can be debated but the buses are safe and fast, escaping is easier. 4) There are no guns, the rangers carry bamboo sticks at most. So the safety of the animals isn't compromised . But that said, that ranger was stupid, crazy stupid
Gina White on what basis? sure, rules regarding safety were flouted but that too would have been dangerous for the people and not the tigers. it would be good for you to know that India is a country where tiger population is growing considerably every year. also this is not a zoo, where animals are kept in enclosures. so where is abuse in it?
At least Forest officers should check the mental health of watchers/warden every year. The person who provocating tiger is mad. He should not be in that job and lucky he and the tourists escaped.
Wow.... The natives here are absolutely ignorant compared to the rangers and guides of South Africa with the lions. They respect them. These guys are instigating a very bad situation..
Tempting a wild tiger...hows that for common sense? To top it all, the chaps a warden responsible for both wild life as well as the tourists. Once a tiger starts the charge, it seldom backs out at the last moment. That's because it waits until the right moment. He's lucky to have got away.
Adarsh Pandey, Do you know why the tiger is a wild animal? Because it is unpredictable. If one works at the reserve each day, it does not give him the leverage to act stupidly. Its quite a different matter if he was to hand rear it as a little cub. Even so, when it becomes an adult, its instincts will take over. Unless one is very careful with his moments, smell and how he moves around the tiger, he is asking for trouble - does not matter if he is a warden, a vet or a man that has spent his entire life studying them. One wrong move and it will be curtains.
cant they get a bigger type car if their gonna take tourist around this national park??? i mean that little jeep if a tiger jumped out of nowhere it could possibly grab a person from off that jeep.
Do you think, that 3' mud-track can accommodate bigger vehicle? African wild-life is found in grass lands unlike India which abounds in tropical rain forests.
What do the park officials think as the benefits of running a capless car in a forest roamed by tigers? They should not confuse between adrenaline test and tigers feeding. Someone knowledgeable, please answer the question above.
Hey I don't know why everyone is so upset lol any fool willing to test the biggest brother in the feline family, is on their own on that note. He can be a fresh snack all by his lonesome , taunting it isn't abuse , I say its encouraging for dinner, just make it easier for the beautiful creature, IDIOTS!!!
STUPIDITY at it's best. The guy could have been mauled by the tiger & the tiger would then have to be put down. The guy should be sacked for such an act. Being a tracker & a guide doesn't have minimal respect for the nature & the job that pays for his bills
