Hahahahaha. Same here. Well, I didn't know that the video contained only popping. But I can't disagree that cats are extremely cute even while shitting. Hahaha. I also observed that there needs to be more inches of layer for a cat to dig.

@@aisyahdjamil9046 you could try starting slowing. put a box of pine litter next to their old litter box. Maybe mix in a scoop of the old litter (so it smells like they are used to). It can take some time to transition!
Mine does not poop in the whole it makes and it excessively digs. I’m struggling a lot. I don’t know how to teach it the right way. It’s 6 months now and neutered. Please help.
Wood pellets do not need depth at all. No more than an inch is necessary for it to work perfectly. If you add too much it creates problems since they increase in volume when wet. They turn to sawdust.
@@deutschesmaedchen yeah I did a mistake put a lot in it. The pellets got wet and turns to dust, then it got wet again and really stinks when my cat do business in it.
I use a Modkat litter box which is really deep. I add about four inches of pine pellets because my cat is quite the digger. I just pick out the poop with a doggie bag and use the scooper to shift the sawdust to the bottom and move the pellets to the top. It never smells of urine and my cat doesn’t track sawdust throughput the house.
@@puppetmaster3911 I got a 15 week kitten got her at 10 weeks still no luck and now she has been pooping in my mom's room there's like 15 poops thank god she is not home for a few more days I just switched to pellets hopefully she starts going in it and it's only $5 for 40lb I really do hope this works so I don't have to worry about running out if litter always got a spare $5
Um I really hope you were cleaning up the poop as soon as the cat went and not just leaving it… and I mean sanitizing where it pooped and not just wiping it up. If your cat struggles with using the box, confine the cat to your bathroom for a week or so and remove all rugs and anything absorbent. The give them a low sided box, a high sided box, and a hooded box. Some cats are picky and will only use a certain type of box. Provide it with those options and nothing else that’s absorbent. Make sure the food and water are in the room with it and spend time with it daily. Hopefully being confined to only a small area where it has those options will encourage it to pick its favorite box and use that. Take that time to really sanitize the house and remove smells from where it’s used the bathroom before. And don’t let it in your mom’s room anymore.
It must be nice to have a young cat. My cat stopped burying his poop at some point. Now, he'll get in the litter box and pee over the edges onto the bathroom floor. Sometimes he'll just put his front paws in the litter box and pee on the bathroom floor. I'm guessing the next step is not going to the litter box at all.
@@akmalzulkifli5619 I posted that 11 months ago. It turns out he had diabetes. That's why he was acting like that. He's all better now, but he was in bad shape before I figured out what was wrong with him.
You know what, same. I came here looking for a sales pitch on the saw dust and litter box from the owner but watched 3 whole minutes of a cat taking a dump. 😂
see what the little guy is doing at :55 sec? with such a thin layering, my cat would dig a hole, pee on the plastic and then may or may not cover it. pee on pan and maybe covered with pellets. in time i would think a smell would develop.
What brand of wood pellets are you using? They look small and round. Pine wood animal bedding from Tractor Supply are much larger. My kittens struggle to move them around. Please let me know. I'd like to try a smaller pellet until my new babies get bigger.
How do you get the cats to switch I have one box with litter and one with pellets afraid to take litter away don’t want them going on floor I sprinkled litter on the pellets any ideas?
@@mejohnb65 - Cats are pretty territorial and feel especially vulnerable to attacks when defecating. In the wild, feces are used to track prey, so cats instinctively are defensive when relieving themselves and will hide the evidence of their presence. This particular kitten considers the litter box as part of their territory and it's important for them to properly bury their feces without being disrupted. But that other cat is encroaching on the kitten's privacy and annoying the hell out of him. The hiss is the kitten's way of saying "Hey back off, this is my personal space".
