I have just had a great poodle about on my 4mph boot mobility scooter, Tiglet, around the Dad's Army Museum.
It's an easy place to explore. It's suitable for most wheelchairs and boot scooters. If you can get around on a stick or walking frame, it's very accessible to people with these types of mobility difficulties and disabilities.
Visit their website at dadsarmythetfo... for details.
Captain Mainwaring himself will even open the door to the elevated section so you can drive in and look about.
You might even be able to get a 4mph pavement scooter in this section.
Also, with the 80th anniversary of D-Day on everybody's mind, It is relevant no only as a historical show, but as history.
The Dad's Army Museum wouldn't be here if not for D-Day.
It's got a great tearoom, too.
